I bought this brooch for my elderly mother-in-law and it suited her fine. It was too "showy" for my liking and not enough stylish.

I would only put this on a dinner suit or formal wear. It is beautiful to look at, but is not what you think when you touch it. I expected this broach to be of a sturdier texture for durability.
