These gloves are a bit thin - good for spring conditions, not cold winter. Glad I paid clearance price for them.

These cabled gloves are beautiful and soft. I know they will be warm for short periods outside, but I am thinking they will not keep my hands warm on their own as they are one layer (not lined with flannel or thinsulate). I knew this, and that is primarily what I would need - short periods outside. I love the dark red color I chose, and the gloves come way up on the wrist, so there is almost no draft up the coat sleeve. I wish there was more cable detail, but what is there is nice.

I have enjoyed wearing these gloves, they are exactly as product description.
The only problem is that they pill easily and that makes them look ragged and unsightly, and it is a chore to de-pill them.
