I bought this dress because I liked the style and the color to wear to a formal rehearsal dinner. The jacket and the dress are attractive but it just did not fit me right at all. I bought a size 6 and it was just to big. I would have to have it altered and so I returned it.

I know that I shouldn't trust the colors on a computer screen, but the Celeron color was too green for what I needed. Online it looked lighter and more ivory. I had to return it for this reason since I needed an off-white or ivory formal dress. It fit great, however!!!

Bought this dress for a mother of the bride, my daughter thought it was lovely, not too young looking for a 52 year old. Size was too large and the color was not right for me, but it was a beautiful dress, high quality.

This is an Alex Evening dress which I had seen in [...]. I love this dress and the color (Celedon) is just beautiful. It will be perfect for my daughter's early May wedding. Classic Elegance! Which is what I was looking for! Most of the MOB dresses I tried on made me feel like the a GOB (Grandmother). I got a size smaller and it fit perfect. (I had tried on Alex Evening dresses at [...] and they do seem to run a little big. This dress is a great price ... [...] this is a dress that you don't see everywhere so everyone else won't be wearing it.)

Bought this for our daughter's wedding in August. Haven't worn it yet, but was pleased that the actual color is not peach but mauve/pink, which is what I really wanted.

Bought dress for son's wedding, not a good fit for a 10P, it needed too many alterations along with being plain when you take off jacket. The jacket is what makes the dress without it you have a plain A-line sleeveless dress with no style or flair. Must wear jacket with dress if you want to remain stylish throughout the event. I knew the dress would need shortened but did not expect to need major alterations, straps, hips, and jacket. The cost of a new dress.

This dress is great for formal/semi formal events for conservatives like myself, who prefer a jacket to a shawl. It wears comfortably, is easy to accesorize, and I loved the material. The downside was it was about a half size to large in the hip, it did not come in petite so I had to have it shortened, and it wrinkles easily.
