I bought this dress to wear to my son's wedding. The color scheme of the wedding is navy & silver so the color is perfect. The price was great but since the wedding is in Nov. and the dress is sleeveless I felt adventuresome and am making a bolero to go over the top. The scarf just didn't cut it for me.

My waist-to-upper-hipline is currently larger than what's on a size chart. The dress' sheer top overlay adjusts (coincidentally) to adapt! I'm saved! Being 6 feet tall, this dress comes to my ankles, so I'll still be able to wear a non-flat dress shoe. Lining is good quality so won't need to wear a slip.

I wore the dress to a wedding -- as the aunt and godmother of the groom. People mistook me for the mother! The dress was much too long and needed alterations, but it was worth it. For my years and size, it was chic yet modest, youthful yet age-appropriate. Wish I had more nieces and nephews . . . .
