This is a beautiful shade of "chocolate"; almost an "eggplant" color. I did have trouble keeping the jacket in its correct position; it tended to slide off my shoulders, thus making me have to tug at it often. I did not pick this dress as my mother of the groom choice

Ordered couple dresses to choose from for my son's wedding. I am 5'2,size 6-8. Sometimes size 6 is a little bit small, but size 8 is big. Ordered this dress in size 6. I was surprised how well it fits me; I do not have to shorten it if I wear some hills. Decided not to wear this dress to the wedding, but my husband liked it so much, that we decided to keep this dress anyway.

I am going to be wearing this dress at my sons wedding in October. This dress was the perfect design for my taste and it matched the theme of the wedding (their colors are wine, burnt orange and turqouis so the corsage will be a perfect color to go with this dress. with the beading on the neckline of the dress I will not need to accessorize except for earrings. I searched high and low for a dress for our daughter's wedding in Chicago. Since her color was Cornflower Blue, I thought Brown would be a nice complement. I found this online just a few weeks before the wedding, ordered my regular size (although my measurements are not exactly what the chart says), and got the faster [...]. I knew it was perfect the moment I put it on, and returned everything else I had bought or had on hold. With the proper undergarments to hold in my tummy, I felt sleek and sexy and not a bit matronly. I feared it might be a teensy long based on comments, but it was perfect for my 5'6" build. The chiffon jacket was just right for September, but would work well spring or summer, too. I did remove it eventually, since I spent quite some time on the dance floor and it was a bit muggy that day. The body had the right amount of "swish" for dancing, the beading added just the right amount of bling and I felt glamorous. Thank you, Chadwicks!

I bought this dress to wear to a wedding in Texas in August. I wanted a dress with long sleeves that would still be comfortable in hot weather. Since I am tall I love that the dress is longer and that it is cut on the bias so that it fits very comfortably.

This dress was sooo nice and really accentuated the positives! Felt comfortable, nice drape, and great length. The jacket looks great with the dress too.. what a wonderful ensemble for a cruise (wrinkle resistant is a plus!) or a night out! My mother purchased this for herself to wear at my wedding in September. It is sooo much better than we expected. She is a tiny woman though so it does need to be taken up at the bottom (it doesn't come in pettite) but really, so pretty and elegant, just like her.

I ordered four of the dresses as bridesmaid dresses. They are very classy and elegant...exactly what I wanted! All four of my bridesmaids absolutely love the dresses.
