An amazing dress for a special occasion. I loved the fact that you could wear with jacket, or by itself. Such a flattering fit even for the not so perfect figure. I am very dissapointed because it looked so pretty when I opened the package. I did not realize though that it has spaghetti straps and you would need to wear a strapless bra if you were to take off the jacket.

A much prettier dress than the catalog pictures indicate, much better quality than I would have expected without the excellent customer reviews. I read other reviews before buying. The jacket is heavy, but comfortable and elegant. The material of the dress is soft and shimmery. The bodice is made for average bust size and has spaghetti straps. I'll wear it with the jacket, or if it's too hot, I bought the organza shawl which will suffice, although the golds aren't the same color. The only real con is the length; one length cannot fit all. This length is meant for a height of 5'8" or so. I am 5'5" and it drags on the ground with the Belle slingback gold sandals w/ 2" heel! (I got a size 10 - maybe could've gone with an 8) Perhaps if I wore 5" heels? At my age (older) I don't do high high heels - comfort is more important. So my dilemma: I'll have to shorten the dress by about 3 inches - (it has 2 layers & rolled hems). No other way around it. Tempted to get one size smaller to see if it would work, but that's a hassle; it would still be long and then I'd still have to return one. Mail order is great except that there's no trying on of different sizes! But the dress is beautiful!

Beautiful dress but the jacket is very, very heavy. Without the jacket the straps are not very attractive. The seam on the front bottom of the dress and the back by the bottom of the zipper were starting to come out. At the price, a good deal even if you have to have it repaired. Not a good choice for a summer event. Too hot and heavy.

This ia great concert dress that I use for my professional singing gigs. The sheer fabric is hard to keep from wrinkling, however, and one of the hook and eye closures on the jacket came very loose and had to be repaired. Other than that, it is a great dress!
