Even though I am short-waisted this jacket was still too short. I read the other reviews but hoped it would fit. The fabric is nice but the picture did not show the gathered waist in back, which was not flattering on me. I wish it had worked out but unfortunately I had to return this jacket.

This thing is for skinny people. For me, it was too tight (couldn't use the buttons provided) I was able to tie it around me, but with the pattern (which was nice), it just made me feel huge. Then all the added fabric, just too much. I feel like I need to lose a lot of weight to feel comfortable wearing it. Liked the color, fabric and overall look. I do think it is flattering for a thin person.

Jacket is comfortable and stylish. The lining is well fitted and the material is wrinkle resistant. The only drawback for me was the belt loops and gathering at the waist in the back which put the waist a bit high for me and I am not long waisted. I expect this item to remain in my wardrobe for some time.

The material on this jacket seems to be top quality, but the fit is so poor I had to return it, at a cost of half of what the jacket cost. It's very big through out the chest so I suggest getting a smaller size than you would normally wear. The belt is also very large (wide) and does not look very good when tied in front. If you could get a good fit on this jacket, it's well made and would really go with anything. When I ordered it I ordered blue-plaid, but ended up getting a solid blue color. This was a disappointment.

Picture of jacket doesn't show enough detail. The tie belt is very wide. The single button is hidden under the placket (?) and then ties over it. The peplum goes all the way around the jacket. It fits better than other Chadwicks jackets I ordered in the same size and it'll look great with black pants. It's a keeper.

This jacket is very classy and it fits wonderful. I bought the evergreen plaid and it looks great with dress pants or if you want to dress it down, it looks just as great with a pair of nice corduroy pants or dark wash jeans. Love it!

This jacket is nice alternative to the blazer. I hope this is offered again in more colors. I can't wait until Fall to wear it.It will dress up any casual outfit. Being part wool,it will probably work as outerwear over a sweater for all but the coldest Winter months.The waist seam and peblum are very comfortable and add a nice touch as does the shawl collar. I was happy to find the blue a deeper shade than I was expecting, more of a bright navy that will work as a neutral.

I knew I'd love this jacket the moment I saw it, and sure enough I'm in love with it!I bought the Blue, Black, Maroon Plaid and the Black plaid! They're beautiful!Note: They didn't mention this in the description but there are two belt loops on the back of the jacket and the belt is removable - a bonus IMO! I can switch-out the belts (for example, wear the Maroon belt with the Black jacket etc)! Also, the color of the Maroon jacket is a bit muted, but that's a good thing, [@]
