A great blazer. [...]had to return and reorder the next size up to get the sizing right, I prefer things to not be too snug. Had to order a different color than previously and Plum and Boysenberry are the same color (weird). Would have like a more suttle color, it's actually Fushia. But it is a great blazer.
The Blazer was a great quality & buy.

I bought several in different colors. The jacket is very thin even with the lining. You can see right through the white one if you are wearing a darker top underneath.
The green one was not as pretty as in the catalog and does not even resemble green.
I will be returning these jackets.
I bought on clearance but cannot believe they were originally $44.

I was thrilled to finally find a longer, more classically-styled blazer at a great price, but was disappointed in the low quality of the fabric. It certainly wasn't a flannel, and I'm not sure it's all wool either. It wrinkles suprisingly easy for wool.

I haven't yet worn the three blazers. Each arrived very wrinkled and creased. I was unable to get the packing folds out with my steamer.
I took them to the cleaners and PAID $6.00 PER BLAZER to have them heavy steamed; picked them up yesterday and hope that wearing doesn't create such wrinkling.
I suggest that more attention be paid to packaging items such as this.

I previously purchased this blazer in grey and in cinnamon. I love them and wear them often. I decided to purchase the blazer in black and in brown herringbone. The black is perfect. My only complaint is that the brown herringbone has gold threads in it, which will limit its wearability. However, these are great blazers!

I now have three of these jackets in basic colors (black, brown, navy) and would have more if they were available in my size. Very fine, lightweight wool which is versatile enough for almost any season. I am perplexed about another review I read about these jackets that said they were of poor quality - all I can imagine is that the customer didn't take the time to steam out the wrinkles resulting from packing and shipping. I LOVE these classic jackets!

According to pictures in books, I thought the material of this jacket was heavier. The material is very light weight. I chose my regular size and this jacket was smaller than jackets I have bought in my size. It fit snug around the chest and arms. I also thought it looked a little shorter than pictures shown in book. It is a good buy, but not what I was looking for.

It arrived heavily wrinkled from packing/shipping and the wrinkles seem to be permanent--it looks like it was slept it. I bought this same blazer several years ago in black. Quality, fit, value was excellent. I ordered this time to get it in a second color, but it is nothing like my other JG Hook blazer. I'm sending it back today.
