I wanted a classic 1940s fit... broad shoulders, fitted waist. The shoulders were ok, but the bottom was cut like a swing jacket and the peplum actually made my waist look thicker. I am returning it.

I bought this in hopes of wearing it to court. When it arrived, the fit was great BUT the appearance was not what I had expected. While it is not denim, it appears to be denim to the eye. It is great for a casual meeting or church but not for what I intended. I am not sure that I will keep it. Most of Chadwick's clothing is high end without the prices. Sadly this does not fit into that category.

I was surprised at the quality of this jacket for the price. It is fully lined and fits beautifully. I have gotten many compliments on this jackets and it looks as if it should cost much more than it did. The only problem I found was that it is not a true black, but more of a dark charcoal.
