This coat is very cute. I haven't worn it out yet, so I don't know about practicality, but I'm happy with how it looks and fits. Slightly stiff material seems appropriate to the dressy feel of the coat, and seems water resistant. I see what other reviewers meant when they mentioned buttons coming off. Although mine haven't come off, they seem cheap and not secure to the coat. Price was great; can't complain (clearance).

I purchased this coat to go over the black-and-fuschia sheath belted dress. It looks perfect! I have worn it to show homes in and to closings and have gotten many compliments. It also looks great paired with pinstripe trousers and a white blouse. You could mix this coat with many pieces and have several different ensembles. The gold buttons are not too flashy; they add just the right amount of detail.

Returned for a larger size, usually order a size 8 so was surprised. When it fits correctly it still won't cover you, when I think swing I think there's enough material to swing over and cover; not with this coat. Still, it's nice material, stylish and colorful.

This jacket can be worn to finish off dressy or casual outfits. The only bad thing about it was waiting for the back order! I like it even more than I expected from the picture and description. Returned the jacket. The gold buttons were overdone and "old" and gave the sense of being cheap. For a moderately expensive jacket I would have liked to have a more sophisticated cut (to be more flattering), and more classy buttons. I returned the jacket but am still waiting on my refund to be completed. Jacket could have also been more tailored to enhance womens' waist and bust.

This jacket is adorable. The length is nice over jeans or a long dress but would look silly over capris. The 3/4 sleeve is nice, it feels cooler that way (I'm not usually a jacket-wearer). It's shaped nicely and the empire wast is very flattering. The buttons are a little large and much too shiny - I may change them out for some aged copper or brushed nickel buttons, I haven't decided.
