It' a windbreaker material, but it's too short in the length and the length of the sleeves for that type of jacket.
It's cute, but the material is not meant for that style of jacket. I'll bet it would work in a lightweight denim.

This jacket is great. There are pleats on the 3/4 sleeve that really add a nice touch. The drawstrings at the waist have cute silver toggles on them. I've worn it with a longer printed top, and also a solid black tank. Loved both looks - can be dressed down or up.

This jacket is a great jacket for toting along for those overly-air conditioned restaurants and buildings. It's warm and light weight, doesn't seem to wrinkle easily either. I like the quarter-length sleeves, so it doesn't make you too warm and gives it a sylish look. The length of the jacket is rather short, though, reaching right at the waist.

I took a chance with this one and I'm glad I did. I took it to Miami and wore it on the plane. I thought it would be sticky because of the nylon, but it is soft and comfortable. Nice to wear over a tank top if you go out in the evening.
