I needed a coat that wasn't heavy, yet warm with a hood for the windy days and this parka fits the bill. Lightweight, hood protects against rain, sleet and snow and is washable and durable. The toggle and loop closures are the only drawback.

I am very pleased with this parka for outdoor use. I walk every day on my lunch hour and this parka not only keeps me warm in bitterly cold temperatures but also provides a covering for my head, which does not flatten out my hair.
As much as I love it for outdoors, I find it too warm for any length of time in the car or shopping indoors.
I did order one size larger than my dress size and it fits comfortably.

This coat is great. It goes with jeans for play to pantsuits for work. Not recommended to wear for dress up although it is very attractive.
