I didn't find anything great about it. It arrived on time but I took one look at it and knew I was sending it back.
It looked and felt very cheap.

This is a nice very reasonably priced addition to my Winter outerwear wardrobe. It is medium-heavy weight and flattering, should work nicely over a suit as I purchased in a larger size than my regular clothes.
I would not want it to be my only coat but that is because of my color choice. It is nice and has updated styling however, the lining is awful! Black with white large paisley pattern on a Aubergene coat- surely solid color lining would have been better.

I've purchased a coat from Chadwicks before so I wasn't suprised to read other reviews that said you should go down a size. I did...and so should you. I'm an 8 and bought a 6. I'm not as excited about the coat as I was about the photo - I purchased the color "mink" and found it to be browner than what's on-line (which looks like taupe to me). The belt is also not as long as it appears in the photo, making that cute little fold-over difficult. I also found it to puff out a bit in the rear end - nothing tragic though.
BUT...it's still a lovely neutral, classic coat. 100% wool makes it very warm. I love the print in the lining.

A great buy! The color (mink) is very versatile, working well with almost all colors. The cut of the coat is generous and flattering-even if you have a wide waist. The belt styles it up a bit but I do not intend to wear it fastened and it will still look acceptable. The length works well with pants, skirts and dresses and I will be able to wear this coat when dressed up or with more casual attire. The color looks great with denim. I need a coat from September to April and this is one that I will not get tired of since it is so adaptable.

This coat is extremely flattering, and fits true to size. Other reviews said it runs large, but I disagree. I wear a six, and the six fits perfectly, with enough room to wear a sweater underneath, and the belt cinches it in beautifully.

Nice coat for the price. I didn't believe all the other comments about it running large - sure enough, the next size smaller fit better. I LOVE the interior paisley print - fun, classy touch. The outer texture has a felt-like look and feel, not a woven look. It will be nice for cool, not freezing-cold weather, I think, which is what I wanted. I also love the grommetted belt, because I don't have to worry about it flopping around or getting lost.

This coat fits perfectly. I am usually very frustrated with the placement of ties on garments because I am very high-waisted, but this one is perfect. I use this coat mostly to go to church and to go to do my volunteer work at my church, as well as to go to school. It is very conservative but extremely dressy and gorgeous at the same time. It is warm but not bulky, retaining your shape, and the belt does not bunch up if you get the right size. I am usually a 12 in the hip but I had to return the coat and get a 10 because the hip area is more forgiving with Chadwick's brand coats. It fits great and if I didn't get it for 50% off I would have paid full price for it anyway! :)
P.S. If you look like the lady in the picture, get it in the Mink color (the one in the picture). It's the one I have and it is very versatile and classic.

This is a wonderful coat, I really like it except that it runs about 1 size too big. It is especially bulky in the shoulders, I feel like a football player. If you're a size 8, buy the 6 and you can still wear a top and a jacket underneath the coat and be ok.
