I'm typically dead-on size XL and this felt snug in the shoulders on me. Lenth & sleeve length were ok, so I thought it quite odd that the jacket overall didn't fit. I was expecting more of a tomato or fire-engine red color which it is not --- leans more toward brick or maroon. Also, its one of those "scratchy" uncomfortable wools. I just shipped it back yesterday. : (

I really liked this coat, but it's not exactly as fitted as it appears in the pictures. The waistline is straight (each model is bending to make it look like it curves the body but it doesn't)... but it's still a good coat with good materials (Loden color is 100% wool exterior, the Navy Blue uses a bit of synthetic fur, though). I specifically wanted a coat with a hood, but the hood hides the one problem feature for me: the shoulders are cut too wide. Maybe that's the way most coats are cut[...]). The medium was massive on me and even the small just felt much too big across the shoulders. This might be my own problem though. Although I returned the coat, I would actually recommend it for others if that makes sense.

The zipper design makes it hard to take the coat on and off. The zipper should have started up higher and not all the way to the bottom of the coat.
I Like the fabric and fit and the hood.

I'm returning this item because it's too big. I'm a fairly busty person so I ordered a size 8 to make sure it fit around the bust, it's huge. The "seams" in the bust area aren't flattering either. I really wanted to like this jacket, but I'm going to have to return it. I recommend that you buy it in a size smaller then what you normally wear.

I am a little disappointed in the sizing of this coat. I ordered a small and it is pretty baggy. I was wanting a little more snug fit. However,
the style and color of this coat works well with business casual and casual wear. It is also a great coat to go with all colors (blacks and browns). I can use this coat daily! I love the hood attached the length. It is not too long but covers mid thigh.

All in all this is a pretty good coat for the money as I only paid [$] because of a coupon. I'm only five feet tall and it doesn't swallow me even though the sleeves are a bit long. The crimson color is more on the pinkish red side, but still a great color. My only complaint is that the coat is not quite as warm as I would have expected but I still wear it every day.

It is a great jacket, the length is perfect as it keeps you warm without being in the way. The design is timeless, and will be "fashionable" for a long time. The colors are great.
