The fabric was lush, the color was beautiful. They were not true to size. I did not bother ordering a larger size, because they were only hip high waist & I find those uncomfortable. The product description reads: fits below contoured waist. The fact is it sits way below & is cut like a junior size. I could even pull it up when I'd ordered my normal size.

My only concern with these trousers is that they may shrink, the pants themselves are lovely. I purchased four pair for a very reasonable price and plan to wear them during the colder months instead of jeans. They will serve nicely during the holiday season for less formal family gatherings (I'm picturing chocolate velvet for Thanksgiving, black for Christmas and the silvery grey for New Year) though I could, and will, dress them up for more glittery events. I will also be able to wear them to work with subtle tops and on the weekends. Great value for the money.

The pants were size 8, which is the size I have ordered from CHadwick in the past and they fit great. But this was too small. Haven't gained weight, so I attribute this to inconsistent sizing by Chadwick. Had to return at a [$] cost to me. Disapointed.

The price was fine, the colors were true to the ad, however the sizing was very strange: ordered one size 10 and one size 12, and the size 10 was a little snug, but the size 12 which I expected to fit, wouldn't even come on me!

I ordered two pair in two different colors of the same design. One fit great and the other seemed a bit small. The pants have virtually no stretch, so now I'm afraid to wash the pants that are on the small size
