These are nice work pants, and they ARE "fully lined", though you don't mention that. ???? I'd wear these to the office, on a date, going out, etc. They look nice, and I have a lot of tops to go with them. Since they are lined, I won't be wearing them till the Fall, when the weather is (hopefully!) a lot cooler than it is now.

I ordered tobacco tweed. The pants were not a standard Size 10, so the waist was too small. The legs, hoowever, were very wide, despite the photo showing them narrow. Unlined, scratchy fabric--not a great-looking tweed. Will return.

This would be such a lovely pair of pants if it wasn't for that Dry Clean only tag tucked away in it! This is a really wonderful pair of pants otherwise, and I will wear them often despite that problem, and hope that, like other things of similar materials that have claimed they need dry cleaning, that they will survive the washer.

I bought these pants to wear with a dressy belted white shirt with a black pinstripe. The straight leg with single pleats creates just the silhouette I was looking for, and the fabric complements the blouse well. But the fit is strange--as so many other Chadwick's pants are. I have a size 4 waist, size 6 hips, and a swayback. Modern "lower rise" pants hit in the middle of the swayback and never fit. I ordered these because they were advertised as sitting higher on the waist with side back elastic and belt loops, so my usual size 6 "compromise" should fit. The pants sit a little lower on the waist than I expected, but don't gap and so will work. There is plenty of room in hip and thigh without looking baggy, however, even with the pleats the pants still cling across the abdomen and show off my "pouf" more than I'd like. Also, the buttonhole was poorly bound and trimmed and the button dangling by a thread. For the clearance price, though, and the silhouette, they will do.
