Why cordoroy shorts? Didn't realize the material before I purchased. Don't understand who would wear shorts when you would wear cordoroy. The combination is odd.

I guess I didn't read the description that well, I thought it was cotton not cotton corduroy. In any case, I got a size larger, because Chadwicks clothing isn't made for those with a shape... African American women ABSOLUTELY must order a size up.. Too much junk in the trunk for a size 8, so I order a 10.. The 10 is also too small, and it goes all the way up my waist. SO you have to have no butt, and no waist whatsoever-so for those with a tiny mommy pouch fuggetaboutit. But they were cute. I hate that I had to send them back, but lesson learned. Next time I'll order 2 sizes up!

I would wear these shorts to work or out on the weekends with the girls. The only problem is that I wear a size 10 and the crotch area was way too big. Way too much fabric in that area in my opinion.

I bought these shorts in the same size as two other pairs of pants I own and love from Chadwicks.com but these do not fit me at all. The corduray is also too thick. I doubt I will ever wear these. Very disappointed. I plan on returning them.

I was extremely surprised when I discovered the city shorts were corduroy material.
I ordered a 12 hoping they would fit big (shrink later) and the waistband sits high on the waist and was tight. Still debating on sending them back.

I really love these knee-length shorts; even an older person like me can wear these. They're as modest as a skirt but comfy as my fave jeans. Coincidentally I have a corduroy blazer which these are a perfect match for. My sister tried them on and now she plans to buy herself a pair too.
