On me the drawstring waist pants gather too much at the tummy area and add an unnecessary illusion of a larger tummy. The pants fit my legs just fine and the length is great but due to the gathering of fabric at the tummy, I can/will only wear these pants with long tee shirts. I have said in another review I am not impressed with the quality of any of the the items I have received from Chadwick's, but they do have unbeatable sale prices and when you are looking for things to just wear around the house in these pants are for you.

Just got these pants today and tried a pair on, they are WAY too long! i love the pants though just wish they came in a petite, I am 5'3" so I will have to hem these, because of the material they don't roll up without looking bunched. they rate high in the comfort department and since I got them on sale can't complain too much! I will have to cut some of the length off to hem them though :(

The waistband is very wide, not what I would consider a drawstring waist but is still comfortable. If you have a tummy though, it will accentuate it because of the width so an overblouse will help.

I don't understand Chadwicks pants sizes. I am exactly 5'5 (size 2/4) and do not consider myself petite(short enough to wear petite pants). However, all of the pants are WAY too long for me. When I say way, I mean four or more inches too long. I would like to try to shrink these pants to fit in length, but I am afraid they will end up too small everywhere else. Should I be ordering Chadwicks petite pants from now on?

Two pair were ordered. Size small fit my daughter very well. The mediums for me were WAY to big. Waist could not be drawn in enough and the legs were wide enough to make two pair!
