I read the reviews before ordering this dress. I ordered this dress in the size I normally wear but it was not available so I ordered the next biggest size. I am glad I did because it fits well. My normal size would have been too tight in the waist. It will need ironing before wearing. I will probably have it dry cleaned to avoid any shrinkage.

The only complaint I have is that the dress feels a bit tight around the rib cage, but a larger size would have been too big. Other than that, it is a great buy! I'm wearing it to a rehearsal dinner.

I LOVE the design of this dress since the first time I saw it and I even ordered a size a little bigger to not go wrong about fitting, but the dress still comes in small for it's size. Now I am stuck with it because it doesn't really fit well, especially on the waist.
If you're ordering this dress, make sure you order a whole size up because a half or petite won't do the job.

I am happy I ordered a size larger. It is always difficult to know how to choose a size. At Talbots petite I wear a size 4 or 6. The size i ordered at Chadwicks was a 8 and is snug in the waist but i love it.

I love the color combo, and pattern, it IS a really pretty dress. The fabric is nice. My only complaint is that it makes me feel big. I'm small size 6, but the fabric from the skirt, which I guess I would consider a "circle skirt", it's too much. I feel it makes my butt look really wide. I don't know if it's because I'm used to an A-line skirt shape and this is just not something I feel makes me attractive from behind!! It really is a well made, pretty dress though. I guess that's my taste.

I actually loved this dress, but it just had a lot more room in the bust than I need. I'm smaller in the bustline, and larger in the rear, and while the waist and skirt part of the dress fit and looked great, the top just was too much. I was disappointed not to keep it, but it just didn't flatter my shape. If you've got a little more going for you in the bustline, I'd highly recommend this dress.

This dress is really pretty. The colors are gorgeous (I have fair skin and blue eyes and the aqua color is perfect for me) and I had a hard time deciding which accessories I'd wear with it because there were several possibilities. The straps are wide enough to accommodate the most matronly of bra straps and the material is light and it's lined. Finally, you can't beat the price.
The only downside is that the skirt part of this dress wrinkles...a lot. It arrived wrinkled, but after I tried it on and decided to keep it, I pressed it off. I carefully packed it in my suitcase for a trip; when I reached my destination, it was super wrinkled again. I had it pressed before I wore it and the skirt was still wrinkly in the back by the end of the night. Maybe a dry cleaning and a good starch would help!
I could see wearing this dress to a casual afternoon party, like a baby shower or a bridal shower, or on a warm summer night date.

This dress is lovely...would be wonderful to wear to a summer wedding, outside occasion or with a jacket to any social gathering or even to work (jacket necessary for work).
Although the dress feels a size too small, it is beautifully designed. The colors are truly lovely and the ribbon detailing at the waist is very special.
It was well worth the cost of the garment.
