The jacket is oversized but the skirt fits fine. I will get by - but I would feel better in it if the jacket was more fitted ... esp in the shoulders, bust, and sleeve length.

The pleats in the skirt are fun.

I was looking for a suit from the 30-40's to perform in. This was pretty close - maybe not the kick pleats - but classic enough style to work.

It would add it would have been beneficial to try on first or I would suggest ordering a smaller size than one normally wears.

I love this suit! The fit was great, albeit I had to have the sleeves shortened on the jacket...my arms are a bit shorter than the 12P I ordered. Not a problem that I took care of the minute it arrived. The suit looked like it was professionally tailored to my body and its look is perfect for a job interview. It is so comfortable to wear. Nothing fussy to have to keep "rearranging" once you put it on and move around in it. I plan to order the suit in navy also.

Wish it were a better fabric and a deep navy blue. Bought a 10P; fit was perfect except for the sleeves and hem length so returned it. Would have been happy to pay more if I could get what I wanted. By the way, why are most of your styles designed for blondes who represent less than 5% of the population while brunettes over 80%?

I would definately have kept this suite had it been sewn properly. The style was very flattering however the lining was not correct either in the top,especially the sleeves nor the skirt.

It's difficult to find clothes that fit you when you are considered a petite shopper. This suit was pretty true to size. It was very comfortable to wear and I got alot of compliments at work about it. The only con I have is that the chest area was a bit too big.

I ordered an 8 petite - got the jacket correct but the skirt is a regular size 8, so it is longer than I wanted. I did not send it back because I did not want to spend the extra postage for an error that was not mine.

I was really looking forward to wearing this suit, but unfortunately had to return it. I ordered a size 10P; I had previously ordered a JP Hook wardrober (dress, jacket, pants) in this size and it fit fine. With this suit, the only thing that fit was the hips. Waist was too big, arms too long, and the jacket basically hung on me. If I tried to go down a size, I'm sure the hips would have been too small, so I decided to return it. Too bad, because I really liked the style!

I bought this suit on sale and it definitely gives my wardrobe that professional image that I am looking for at an affordable price! Best of all, it is machine washable so it saves me a lot of money on dry-cleaning bills too!

I am 5 feet tall and needed just a bit of alteration (i.e. hemming on the skirt and the sleeves for the jacket), but that is normal with most outfits because people range in heights. Overall, the suit fits like a glove...I am very pleased with the material, the fit and the price. I really love J.G. Hook tailored style, it is very professional and versatile, therefore can be worn to different occasions.

when you try on the suit the pleats on the side stick straight out instead of hanging down - i figured if they do that right off that is always going to be an issue so I returned it.

This is a pretty suit with flirty set of pleats on the bottom of the skirt. It's feminine, but authoritative for business and professional wear. It's fully lined so no need to add a slip; you could wear it without a blouse, but I prefer to use a camisole with a buttoned jacket. This way, the camisole provides more warmth in cold meeting rooms, but you can make dressing more efficient by reducing the number of items you have to select.
