I really like the style of this jacket and the fabric seems like it would wear well. However, the stitching and fit ruined it for me. The stitching around the top button hole came completely unravelled the second I took it out of the package. And the stitching on and around the breast pockets was a mess! Because of that, the piece ended up looking "CHEAP". As for the fit, I ordered the 10 petite and it's too short. (And yes, I realize the sleeves are supposed to be 3/4 length). At 5'4" and a size 10/12, I'm supposed to be your average American woman, yet I can rarely find clothes that fit me off the rack. Your "petite" is (sometimes) too short. "Average" is too long and frumpy looking on me. Very frustrating.
