A great basic-I got this for church.
The fabric is not as soft and fluid as I had hoped but still a nice basic. The waistband seems a little tight for the sizing. I am 5 ft 1 inch and this is just below my knees...I would prefer it to be a couple inches shorter but am desperate for dress clothes so I am keeping both the black and the brown.

I bought this skirt in brown and black to wear to work. It is a perfect summer skirt. Comfortable and light weight. It can easily be dressed up or down, depending on the shoes and top you put with it. I'm not sure why it's called "flippy," because I see nothing "flippy" about it, but it's otherwise very true to description. I love the wide waistband--- makes for a very neat looking and comfortable fit. I haven't washed this item yet. I would probably recommend hand washing or washing on delicate cycle, and laying flat to dry. Sometimes I am disappointed in the quality of Chadwick's clothing, but this one was a hit!

I liked the print and the fabric. I don't like flared or bias cut skirts. I prefer a skirt that is straight or little more fitted. The picture in the Chadwicks catalog was deceiving. The catalog that I order from showed the model wearing the skirt in the solid brown, which looked like a straight skirt. I now know what you meant by flippy! I did return the skirt. Sorry!

I would buy this product again.
