I was not impressed with these slacks at all, returned both pairs. The french kahki color was not what I expected at all, rather a pale yellow. The fit wasn't good for me.

The only thing 'con' is that I did have to shorten the pants by an inch - I am a P and usually I do not have to alter the length of either pants or skirts. These pants are so nice, however, that I would order them again even knowing I would have to shorten them.

I'm only 5'1" and the pants are about 1 inch too long for me to wear with flat shoes. With a wedge shoe or a higher heel shoe they will be fine.

I had purchased the same type of pants before under item number 11-5480-6 a few years ago which was titled under the Chadwick name and it was manufactured in the Dominican Republic which fit fine and were of good quality. These pants by JG Hook were made in China and they do not have the same material quality even though they both were made up of polyester/rayon. The material is thinner and the inseam sewn is too high in the crotch area which makes it uncomfortable.
My suggestion is to go back to the prior Chadwick pants.

do not buy product.........material of the poorest quality....grows...wrinkles far to easily, good color, string in material..when you go to cut, it's in the tweed which then unravels................am planning on returning the pants.

Love the lightweight fabric and the classic look. Verticle stripes help those of us vertically challenged as well as give a more svelt look. I love pockets, and the pockets are perfect. Also, the elastic waist inserts are so forgiving and assist in a perfect and comfortable fit. These pants are wrinkle proof, great for work or travel and quite affordable.

I went blind when ordering, not an online shopper. Pleasantly suprised, great fit around waist (I have no waist, but large rear..thanks mom for a size 6-8) Their petites were spot on, a tad bit long for me, but will buy Hooks again and again. Great for a busy mom to go to school events, military functions with hubby, outings on base, loved them. Basically like a pair of great chinos, can't do without.

I like the fabric and color. However, I will be returning the pants because they are voluminous through the hip area. Difficult to believe they're an 8 Petite. The desert color was fine; the "navy" color was not navy to me but more of a dark royal. I will be returning both pairs because of the hip non-fit and because I don't have anything to match the shade of blue.

The pants are too short through the stride. Feels like you are wearing a thong. I always wear the size I ordered, but these were too tight through the hips. Shirt has spandex, which I hate and the buttons are tacky. I will be returning all the items.
