These are GREAT warm wool slacks. That's why I have 3 pairs. I am 5'4" and always wear a petite. I wish these were a 30" inseam, but will do just fine. In the new fall catalog, I noticed Chadwicks carry some 30" petite pants, and that's just GREAT. Thanks Chadwicks. You are the best.

The brown pair fit great and was of a nice wool fabric. The blue pair (which was supposed to be exactly like the brown pair) was a differant fabric and was misproportionate. The waist was small and the hips were very wide. I kept the brown pair and returned the blue ones. I don't like to have to return things -- both pair were supposed to be the same except for the color.

I love this style of pants because of the flat front. You can wear all of your tops and sweaters out and not any of them will be lumpy in appearance it will all be smooth. It also flattens out your stomache too.

Very disappointened in the workmanship of these. I have the same pants in size 4 and they are excellent. These zippers were sewn half closed, crooked and very incorrectly. Each pair cost me $12.oo to have the zippers replaced.

I would not buy this product again.

Comments about Chadwicks Merino Wool Pants:

The pants did not run true to size for a petite. They were way too long and will have to be shortened professionally, at a cost. This does NOT happen with petite pants I order from other catalogues, only Chadwicks.
