The pants do not sit above waist. They come just below waist, classic waist. Very light fabric in sky blue, almost see through. Will show stains.

Great slacks. The elastic waist band doesn't look like elastic and has a nice fit. The pants are a little too low rise for slacks in my opinion, but that is probably because I have to order petite to get a size 2. (Please, is there anything we can do to change that?)

These pants are very cute. The sky blue is a pretty color. However, they're a little thin and contrary to the description, they aren't lined. So, what you wear underneath matters. Still, the fit is great and they're a good buy.

For being petite, these pants are not too short or too short waisted. The size is relatively true to the "new" sizes. I am a size 4, have been for many years, I've not lost weight or inches, but I'm now a size 2. Even though I am 5'3" which is technically petite, petite pants are usually too short waisted and too short in length. I guess these "sit above the waist", they are close to actually coming up to my waist. The only real con, they are side zip on the left. I don't know when someone decided all women were left-handed, but I'm getting tired of it. Otherwise, they are quite comfortable and have a nice classic business style. Great clearance price!

I haven't worn these pants yet, but I'm glad it's spring because these are lighter weight than expected. I'm a bit concerned about them not being lined because I got them in a fairly light color (sky blue)and I don't want a panty line to show, as it did when I tried them on - I'm planning on wearing these with a shorter jacket. Otherwise, I expect these to great for warm summer days when I need to look dressier.
