The thing that I like most about the boots is that there is an elastic insert in the top of the boot so that it is not so bad for those of us who have bigger calves.

I really like the color and the feel of the material. But, like most tall boots I have tried on the calf is way too snug. I have about a fourteen and a half inch calf and even with the easements built in it is very snug. I bought a half size larger than usual hoping that would compensate but it didn't. Where do I go to find boots for my calf size?

The leather seemed to be a lower quality than I am looking for. I need a boot that will stand up to the weather as well. These didn't seem like they would keep my feet warm enough.
If you were looking for a boot that just looks good, but won't be worn a lot, or for long hours at a time, this boot would do.

You cannot tell these boots aren't real leather by looking..feel good too. Easy on and off as they zip all the way down. I ordered 1/2 size larger than I wear as I always do with boots.

Love that they unzip down to the instep which makes it really easy to get them on and off. Love the way they feel and look on my legs. I bought them a 1/2 size larger which I always do with boots and they are perfect.

The boots are great but because of the sqaured toe are about half a size too big. Easily stuffed so no problems! Awesome price! Flexible and comfortable. I can wear these all day and then go out in them too!

I live in Manhattan and work in retail so I have plenty of places to shop for shoes but I only buy the Chadwicks shoes and boots because you carry size 5!! I can't find this size anywhere and you have the best selection, quality and price points. I would buy more pairs of shoes if you carried all the styles you show in size 5!!! [...]

Your shoe sizing seems to always be 1/2 size off. This time I tried to order a larger size and you suddenly were out of that size. It's really my own fault--but I wanted the boots so badly!!!

I have thick calfs - so they don't fit well around my leg. But, my mom tried them on though - and they fit her with room to spare. Really cute otherwise - the heel was just right height for me.

The boots seemed like they were made out of plastic, very stiff. The shaft did not fit comfortably to my legs, too wide. The toe was more pointed that I thought it looked in the picture.

Boot description should include that there is a zip. I was under the impression that they were stretch boots becuase most descriptions include "zip" if they are indeed zip up.

the tall boot is great for long legs, however, the long toe emphasizes what the long legs already tell. If you have a long foot, why emphasize it with a boot toe that sticks out to there!

Other's have complained about the shaft... I have NO problem with the fit at all... However, as I'm on my feet all day, I like more padding on the soles of my shoes, so I put in extra insoles for more comfort.
I was very excited to find these boots in a size 5!! At this point, it's almost impossible to find shoes in size 5 without making a special order...
AND they are not leather (I'm mostly veggie)...
I just ordered a 2nd pair in brown.

I think the foot part might have fit fine, but the shaft was way too small. I decided to try them because they came with an elastic gore, but that barely helped at all. I prpbably won't try again because this is the second pair that have been too tight in the shaft. The leather felt soft and I had wanted navy tall boots for a little while.
