Marigold sounds like it would have a hint of gold. No, these are pale orange--the weirdest orange I've ever seen. They go with nothing. Like everyone else says, the heel strap is loose and falls down 8 million times a minute, and I've only walked to the kitchen in them.

My feet are wide and by some miracle these actually fit. There is no give at all however across the toe part so after a couple hours I'm ready to take them off. Plus I got the white and I know they'll get dirty quickly and I'll have no way to clean them. But they'll be good for church or lunch and I love having the espadrille style w/o having to tie long laces around my ankle.

I love the shoe but I need a 1/2 size. Size 7 is just a bit snug and the size 8 is too large. I will keep the 7 and hope that it will stretch just a bit. They are true to size but only in wholes.

The shoe is really cute, but the first time I put them on, I knew I couldn't keep them. They were really tight on my toes and the opening of the peep was just too small. I like to show off my pedicure through my peep toes. The opening is so small, you don't really see your toes at all. I was disappointed because I really thought they would be fun shoes to have.

I ordered 5 things from Chadwicks as my first ever order from them. I hated 3 things and one was so so and this one I really did like. I'm happy with this purchase. Didn't change my opinion though, with the cost of returning, I don't think I will use Chadwicks again. I have ordered from Coldwater numerous times and they just provide better pictures so you know what you're getting. Having only one picture of many of the items makes it difficult to know what the back looks like etc.
