I haven't owned a skirt or dress in 15 years. It's just not my thing. I finally decided that it was time to have at least one nice skirt on hand for special occasions, so I started searching. My criteria was that the skirt had to be long so I could wear it with tall boots, it had to be comfortable, and I didn't want to spend a ridiculous amount since I'd rarely wear it. When I saw this skirt on clearance it seemed to fit the bill so I ordered it, and I'm glad I did. I love the fit - it's swingy and light and comfortable and has a built in slip so I don't have to go buy one. The fit is perfect - waist and length are just right for my size 8 6'0 tall frame. The only negatives are that the waist elastic is narrow and visible, so tucking a shirt in would make the skirt look 'cheap', and the skirt print is not the same as in the pic. It's got little blue diamonds on it instead of blue/white circles. But it's an attractive pattern so I don't really care. : - )

I will wear this skirt only after I replace the elastic. The elastic is only a quarter inch wide and not very elastic. If I wear it as is, I will need to keep pulling it up. Not good for wearing when you're lugging kids around on your hip.

This is a really pretty skirt that goes well with tunics and other cute knit tops. However, the elastic waist band is cheap, cheap, cheap! Very flimsy. I constantly had to pull the skirt up throughout the day because the elastic was so weak that the weight of the skirt pulled it off my hips. I wish they would put a real waist band on this skirt. It would be a jewel, rather than a pretty pain.

I have this skirt in two colors. It is very flattering and feminine. I love it! I am 6' tall and the length is great with strappy shoes.

I like the skirt especially because it is made for tall women. It has a nice flow to it which aids me in ballroom dancing. I plan to take it on my cruises as it will not wrinkle easily.
