I was pleased with this blouse. Very flattering fit and it held up well with washing. Thin material but not too thin...perfect for North Texas triple digit days. Great for business casual or to wear with a pair of shorts on the weekend.

Like the Look
By theta ladyVerified Purchaser from California on 7/16/2008

Feels too small
Pros:
Soft, Stylish
Cons:
Sleeve bands too tight
Best Uses:
Casual Work Days, On The Weekend
Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The body of this top feels pretty true to size but the sleeve bands definitely run small and there's no "give" as the bands have no stretch capacity. Have not worn it (other than try-on) nor have I washed it so can't comment on all-day comfort or shrinkage.

Decent shirt for the value

Cons:
Low Quality, Sleeves tight, thin material
Best Uses:

Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I bought this shirt on sale for $10. I wouldn't pay any more for it. For the value, good shirt. The material is thin. I bought the vine green color so I don't think I'll need a cami underneath, but it's a close call. The sleeves are a bit tight and I think I have thin arms...but not uncomfortable. I hate the gold trim buttons...I didn't remember reading it in the item description but when I looked again before writing this, there was mention of it. Personal preference there.

For a polo shirt, this is made from some of the thinnest, cheapest material out there that it's practically see-through. It's just cheaply made.

I LOVED the fabric of this shirt, but nevertheless I sent it back. The bottom hem was nicely stiched, but the shirt overall didn't have any shape to flatter my fit but not 20-something figure. I like a slightly more fitted top, and this one was square. Use the size chart, it was pretty spot on becuase of the sleeves. The rest of the shirt jsut kind of hung there, though. I live in AZ and this shirt would be AWESOME for the hot weather since it's so light. Just didn;t work for me, and I found another similar sweater from Chadwick's I liked better- with ribbing at the bottom.

Not worth the money
By Mom2BoysVerified Purchaser from PA on 4/16/2008

Pros:
None
Cons:
Low Quality, Very poorly sized
Best Uses:

The color of the shirt was great but the construction is lousy. It was way oversized, there was NO structure and the material was so thin you could see through it. I was extremely disappointed because it looks like such a nice casual shirt in the catalog. On me I looked pregnant because of the lack of structure. Just all around poor quality.

This product looks great on paper but not in

wear it alone in public.

I returned this top because it arrived with an ink stain on the front of the shirt. This is the second product I received with a stain, very disappointing. I had given up on Chadwicks a long time ago, but decided to give them another chance. I don't think I will order again.
