I am 5'8", 158 lbs., and the L size feels a bit small after washing. This pullover would be alright for someone who isn't as tall, but the length and sleeves are a bit too short for me.
It also has a rather boxy shape, and seems to have too much material in the back, and not enough in the chest area (and I'm only a B cup).
But at such a bargain price, it's not worth paying the shipping cost to return it, so I'll probably give this to my mother, who is shorter than me. Just glad I didn't order more than one.

I wear these sweatshirts all winter long and just love them. They go with jeans, dresser casual pants. My favorite is to wear them with my scrub pants to work. I work in a hospital and it also cold. These shirts are the perfect weight to keep my warm without being heavy.
I hope Chadwicks will keep selling them season after season - and bring back some of the originial colors!

Mentioning french terry confused me a bit but I love this shirt. What a great shirt to throw on over jeans on a Saturday afternoon. The navy also looks great with my white walking shorts. The fit is great for we woman who have had children and don't have the perfect figure anymore. Because of it's boxy fit it hides a multitude of figure flaws. I have 6 of these shirts. There is a difference between the 3 I ordered in 2007 and the 3 I ordered in 2008. The 2007 shirts run smaller and are a slightly heavier and better quality fabric than the 2008 shirts. Both the 2007 and 2008 are comfortable and perfect for my intended use of them. Shirt is perfect weight for early spring, late fall and even winter if active. The only real negative is colors are not very true to the sample given. I would love it in a shrimp coral/pink color as well as a brighter turquoise, but have ordered 4 shirts and none are quite right. The yellow is great!! Bright and cheerful!

It is listed as a sweatshirt. It's not a sweatshirt, it's a long sleeve t-shirt! It is tight in the sleeves and shoulders, and I'm not big in those areas.
