What a deal! They're GIVING this shirt away! Corduroy is in, and I love this shirt. The pumpkin colour is a little more on the coral side than a true pumpkin. It's ultra-soft and comfy either alone or over a tee. Washes like a dream. I have long arms, but the sleeves are just right. Cotton is always a good choice, esp. with a wide wale like this because it doesn't wrinkle. I bought one for my sister, too, it was such a good price.

I have this shirt in four colors and really do love it because although casual, it looks nice enough to wear out for a lot of everyday activities. I do have the following comments and hesitations, however:
Color - love the navy, dijon, and French pink, but the salsa color is almost "neonish".
Workmanship - the way in which the collar is sewn on two of the shirts makes is sort of gather up and lay a tad awkwardly.
Washability - It definitely shrinks considerably so take that into consideration when choosing the size.

I use the shirts to wear around the house when it's chilly or as a jacket when the weather is slightly cool but not cool enough to wear a regular jacket. I cut the length of the big shirt to a shorter length and it's perfect as a jacket and doesn't look so sloppy. Makes a neater fit. Otherwise shirt is perfect.

The shirt is made well, but the fabric doesn't lay quite right. The Brown and Ivory colors are really nice! The Thistle color is nice, but the shirt was damp and had an odor when I took it out of the package. Probably will exchange that one since I'm not sure what it was exposed to. The other shirts were dry and had no odor. The shirts are nice and comfortable, but the fabric would lay better if it were softer. It might be the wide corduroy that makes it seem more rigid. I ordered a medium considering it was called a big shirt only to find out that it fits like a normal medium-sized shirt. All in all, it's a very nice shirt and I will be keeping them.

The days here in the Great Pacific Northwest have been cold and gray. I was looking for something to warm and cheer me. The pumpkin color is a spirit lifter, a needed change from all the dark colors of my winter wardrobe. The shirt is oversized enough to be very comfortable, the fabric is so soft and warm and cozy, a great insulator against the 32 degree temperatures we are having. I had wanted the pumpkin colored tee to layer under the big shirt but the color was no longer available when I went to place my order, so I ordered the cream colored one instead. It isn't quite right for under the shirt so I will look for something else that I like better for that layered look, but will keep the tee anyway. I always love Chadwicks clothes. I bought one shirt three years ago and have worn it a lot, so when I saw these new colors, I knew I wanted them, too. The shirts are great to wear to work on Casual Friday, and on the weekends, and after work. They are very versatile - they go with jeans, khakis, and other casual attire.

This product is wonderful except the sizing is off. I normally wear a misses large and in this shirt I wear an XL. I love the shirt, though. I get compliments on it all the time. The colors are beautiful. I have four in different colors now but would like to get a few more colors. Hope it is offered again.

I just love this shirt and am tempted to get one in another color. A little heads up though: I bought the navy and it looks somewhat purple-ish. I love the color though, so it's great for me, prettier than I expected. The only problem I would see is if you were trying to match it with another navy. Very versatile shirt. Fit and appearance weren't enough to overcome the sight of the corduroy on both shirts being cut in the wrong direction. The finish looked shiny due to the downward nap instead of the rich, soft look of the opposite direction. It was obvious when the shirts were turned upside down. Since both were this way, I have to assume it was deliberate, but it took away from the soft look the shirts should have had

Very well made bigshirt. Was quite impressed with the weight of the fabric and for wide wale, too !! Colors are rich. Usually corduroy bigshirts run too short in the length and arms....this one fits the bill -- excellent coverage and ample sleeve length. Liked this one so much that I have ordered 2 more !!

I bought two of these "Big Shirts", the navy and the tan. I love them both and wear them anywhere.
I can dress it up or just through it on to run an errand. There is enough room to layer and still keep warm. If you are a casual, classic kind of person BUY this shirt. One thing is that they are warm so I layer due to the quickly changing weather here.

Love the chocolate but the "thistle" is a weird light purple color (almost pastel) which I plan to return. Sleeve length is fine on me (I have short arms) but I'm guessing the "average" person might find the sleeves a little short.

I bought it to wear over my other clothes in a grocery store. It gets chilly in there. It is large enough to go over a couple of layers and still comfortable. I think the large size the sleeves should be longer they barely reached my wrists.

I like this shirt. Makes a light topper in spring or fall. Looks great with turtlenecks for fall or winter. Colors are great. washes like a dream, comes out of dryer with no touch up needed. Packs well. Wear with jeans for an ultra casual look or slacks for a casual drinks date.

I like the shirt, but color was much darker than shown in catalog, but still looks good. It seems that with Chadwick, I will need to order the next larger size than normal. Items tend to run smaller than the average sizes.

I use the shirt instead of a jacket and/or sweater with jeans. They are nice enough to wear while I'm at my part time job (very casual tennis pro shop). I was a little disappointed in the colors as I wanted a true red and a dark yellow. The red was pinkish. But both colors are OK and I'll get alot of wear from them both this fall and winter.

I can wear this to work with nice pants so I can dress it up a little, OR wear it with my jeans for casual. It isn't like a jean jacket. It is very soft and easy to wear and pretty! Love the colors!The layer look is best for me....never know if I am going to be hot or cold. It is easier wear than a sweater because it is low maintenance. PRICE IS GREAT!
