I bought this in black and chocolate. In those colors,the details of the collar is not easily seen. Also, the fabric seemed low quality to me. I thought it looked cheap. I plan on returning both. Maybe the white you can see the detail better. I was disappointed since it looked like it would be a good blouse for work.

I wanted a womens blouse not a shirt. This is a feminine non frilly blouse perfect with a suit or a nice pair of slacks. I also like this blouse with tailored jeans and a blazer. I am chesty so I ordered one size larger and I am glad I did that. The fabric has a nice hand to it.
I have not washed it, but because it is such a nice blouse I will send it out to be laundered.

The fabric is smooth and tightly woven and the vanilla color is easy to wear with any wardrobe. The collar and other details make this a welcome change from the ordinary button-front shirt under a suit or blazer. Ironing the collar is a bit tricky; the pleats abruptly end, leaving you to guess what to do with the billow of fabric that forms the collar/neck. I would not recommend this style for a woman with a short neck or very broad shoulders, as there's a lot of fabric around the neck.

Everything I have received from Chadwick's has fit exactly as I expected with the exception of this blouse. It feels just a little restrictive. That said, it is a unique and attractive design that looks great under a jacket or alone.
