The beading is subtle. Works well under a suit jacket. With proper accessories, could make an elegant evening statement. (Mine is black.) My only complaint is that the cuffs are too large and fit very loose around the wrist.

I'm a college girl, and the version in black is a little old fashioned for me, the white looks fine. I like the romantic, light, and slightly sheet fabric. I also like the style. However, I wear a size 16 according to the sizing chart, ordered 14, and realized that it is quite loose (I can easily take off 1-2 inch width wise and it would still be comfy). Depends on your style, if you want it to fit, order a size or two down. If you like it loose, order your normal size.

I am so disappointed because I loved the style and fit of this blouse and had bought two colors, but the first time I wore the blue, I was shocked to look down and see that the lower button placket had frayed away from the blouse. Then I checked the white one and gently tested the bottom button placket which immediately frayed as well. I had not washed either blouse, so the fraying was not caused by washing. Apparently the manufacturer did not leave a sufficient inner seam or overcast the cut seam edges to prevent fraying.

I loved the way this blouse looked on the model in the catalog. But I was disappointed when it arrived and I realized that you can see straight through the material. I do not want to show everyone my bra, so I would have had to purchase a thick camisole to cover myself under the blouse. I returned it rather than spend the extra money to make up for the blouse's shortcomings.
