The color of this shirt is great. But I listened to Chadwicks sizing chart and order a size 8 (even though I wear a 6 at most other stores) and it is slightly too big. I should have gone with my standard size. My only complaint about the shirt is that the snaps (not buttons) down the front seem a bit cheap and if you don't snap the top few snaps, you see the metal snaps (and it's rather glaring). I plan on removing the top snaps off of my shirt.

The silver snap buttons show up too obvious when you don't want to snap it snuggly to your neck. The fabric is very thin and more see-through than I expected. The ruffle sleeves puffs up awkwardly and not too flattering. It makes the soulders appear broad.

Just want to point out the flutter sleeves-- the white in the background behind the picture downplays how poofy they are. Matches well in Celadon (green) with the skirt in picture, thin fabric. Hope the sleeves will calm down with washing.

I bought this on sale for an amazing price, so with that in mind, I can't complain too much. The smocking is cute, and I like that it snaps up the front. The thing I don't like is the fluttery little sleeves, which are a lot more "poofy" than they appear in the photo. My shoulders are wide to begin with, so it looked extra silly on me. But I wore it to work yesterday with a jacket over it, and it looked fine. I'm hoping that after I wash it a few times, the fabric might lie down a little better, and maybe I can wear it by itself.

I could not get past the snaps. I would have wanted to leave the top snaps open like the picture, but you could see them. Maybe if the snaps blended, or were the same color as the fabric, they would not have been sooooo noticeable. Or use buttons.

The shirt is so cute in the picture, but when it arrived I was shocked. The material was rough, the shirt was huge, the sleeves stuck straight out (even after I ironed them) and the shirt did not have any shape to it. The belt only made the problem worse.

The shirt looks cute and soft but when I got it it is made from a stiffer flimsy fabric. I bought the wineberry color. The color is beautiful and even though it is flimsy you can't see through this color, I wouldn't be so sure about the white. The smocking detail is pretty but itchy. The puffy sleeves stick out a lot more than they do in the pic. I'm returning.
