I got compliments on my first wear. First wash and the detail stripe curled up, requires hot iron to flatten, just too much work for me when I want wash and wear.

I wore it's predecessor in a different color to my 50th high school reunion...I looked quite stylish. After my initial order, a fellow church member had acquired the same item earlier and we realized we liked the same things...though she was much slimmer than I and also blonde!!. My only problem with either set is the tank top isn't flattering to a size 16, but with the shrug it looks very nice. New color looks great with slacks from Chadwicks.

The fabric is cheap. The length is too short and the chest is too small and tight. Doesn't compliment the shoulders very well.

I wouldn't recommend this for a chesty woman. It only emphasises it. The brown color didn't match any of my brown bottoms (pants, skirts, capris, etc.).
It's a very nice set, made well, and looks nice for the right body type.

I am a size 8 with a 38C chest, so I bought a Large, and it fits perfectly. Just be aware that it does have 3/4 length sleeves, not long sleeves. I am a teacher and I can totally wear this to work. Cute!

Contrary to all of the raves about this set, I found it to be too tight. I'm a size 10 and in between a M and a L in tops. It seems like when I buy M, it's too tight, and L it's too big. Because no one said that there was a problem with fit, I bought this set in a Medium. It may be a true size Medium, but the fabric is very stretchy. This is the kind of sweater that no matter what size you buy, it's going to conform tightly to your figure. I think that sort of stretchy, tight, sweater fabric is cheap looking. Returned the set.

I usually wear a size 10. But, I really have a difficult time trying to figure out what size to buy in Chadwick's tops. It seems like every time I buy a size Large, it's too big and I know a Medium would have fit. If I buy a Medium, it's too tight and I know a Large would have fit. Most of the time I just keep the Larges and feel unhappy that they're too big. The Mediums that are too tight, I send back. This sweater is a Medium that's too tight. But I suspect that the Large in this style would have looked tight also. This is just one of those sweaters that's very stretchy and small. I really don't like that look in general and particularly on me. Can't recommend. I also think the sweater looks cheesy. But, then I think most tight fitting clothes look cheesy.

I ordered the black/white set in a medium [...]- but I'm glad, because the medium fit perfectly. I love that this is an actual 2-piece set and not the "look-like-2-pieces" item that is usually what you get at this price. And also for the price, the fabric has a nice weight to it, not heavy or stiff, but firm enough to keep its shape. The shell is somewhat form-fitting, which I like. I'll be able to wear the pieces separately, too - the cardigan piece will be perfect over some of my summer dresses, and the shell could be used as a vest over a tailored shirt, or on its own with a little belt. I wore the set to church last Sunday with a white/black bold-printed skirt, and I got compliments on it right away!
