Sweater runs a bit on the large side--I needed to size down from a large to a medium. After wearing the cream one several times and receiving so many compliments on it, I decided to order the red and the black when they were on sale. With a lightweight, fitted turtleneck underneath, I wear these sweaters almost daily, right into heavy coat season.

If you expect to wear this sweater like it looks in the photo, think again. The material is too bulky up near the neck where it closes using round plastic closures; which will tear away from the fabric after a few wears undoubtedly. Furthermore, the fabric is very gappy like a poorly made throw that you can see through. This is not stitched together tightly, it is very loose.

This sweater looked stunning in the picture!
However, it was poor quality construction.
The metalic thread looked cheap and was "pulled" and loose in spots when I opened the package.
The detail was not as pictured. Again, looked cheaply made and the fit, while true to my size was akward and was not flattering, and I am slender. I use it to walk the dog, as it was not nice enough to wear to work which was my intent, just looks "cheap." I ordered brown, and the gold thread was "too much" gold thread weaved into the garment.

I'd been looking for a brown sweatercoat for over year and I saw this one and fell for it immediately. The shape is very different than most and the slight bit of metallic thread adds some "oooph!" It's perfect for fall or spring in the cool mornings and dusks.

The sweater coat looked wonderful in the catalogue picture. However, in practice the front edge curled back so that the design line of the coat was lost. The coat needs to be constructed differently so that it will hang properly. Nice idea, not good in practice. I returned it.

I loved this sweater! I have received MANY compliments on it.
My only con is that I found a few snags on it. Im thinking from jewelry, and the top collar button is difficult at times to snap.

It is attractive, but hard to put on & take off because it gets caught and snags in my jewelry. I wanted the sweater for casual wear with tight slacks and heels. It looked perfect in the Magazine, even when I zoomed in, the fabric looked pretty nice. I was surprised how the fabric looked when I got it, I thought it was too thick and it made me look as if I was wearing a bath robe. I will return it this week.
