I use this turtleneck for casual wear and wore it to church when it was cold outside. It washes well in the gentle cycle and I lay it flat to dry. It dries in about 2 days. It's a great sweater. I bought one in February and checked just recently to see if your clearance catalog still had the item and they did so I bought 2 more.

Chadwick's carries a lot of matching items (e.g., sweaters and jackets or tank tops and shirts and it appears the colors match in the pictures, but that's often not the case and the difference can be significant. Also, the colors in the pictures are not always as close to the product as they could be. The aubergine turned out to be a brighter, lighter purple. The green version did not match the green moleskin skirt as well as it looked in the pictures.

I loved this sweater so much I bought it in three different colors! It's warm and comfy and easy to wash. Be aware, however, that the colors are much brighter than they appear in the catalogue. For example, the loden sweater looked like a dark, pine green in the catalogue and in reality is more of a light kelly green. The aubergine sweater looked like a rich dark eggplant in the picture but is actually bright purple. All the sweaters have bright multicolored threads woven throughout for the "tweed" look. If you're looking for a more subdued color, stick with fawn, which is the only one I bought that actually matches the picture in the catalogue.

This is one of the best sweaters I have purchased this season. It is very warm and comfortable; I love the turtleneck because it keeps me warm! I like the material and the fit. I wish I had one in every color.

This sweater is very thick. I wore it on a day when the tempatures were in the mid 50's and sweated all day.
