I bought it as a gift; but could see that it's smaller than the size labeled. If you really want a layered sweater, buy a size larger. The style doesn't look terrific without a layer under it - I think it's the pockets that bulk up the bottom. But it is comfortable.

This sweater actually fit and I ended up ordering a second one. It was not too short in the sleeves and so far (after the first wash) hasn't shrunk. It's one of the best clothing items I've gotten from Chadwick's.
