this sweater is so poorly designed. there are too many buttons in the collar and they are very tiny. the neck is too small so you have to remove the collar to fit it over your head. then you have to button the collar back on and it takes about 15 min to button all the tiny buttons on, and it's not easy unless you're a contortionist. i bought it for work and i don't have that 15 min to waste in the morning when i'm in a hurry. it's just too inconvenient and too much of a hassle to put on and take off. i kept it because i didn't want to spend even more money just to return it.

I loved it when I first put it on, then the bottom of it rolled up as I wore it, it needs a finish on the bottom or I guess you could tuck it in. They should tell you the collar is button on, the buttons are loose and the collar would not stay down.

This top is really awesome. I use on those days when it is a bit too chilly out to wear just a shirt, but I don't want to cover up my arms all day. I like that it is cut slim too because I have a hard time finding mens shirts that fit me. This is a gem!

This is a really darling design, very classic and pulled together (think Audrey Hepburn). The fit is good, but as other reviews have mentioned the collar buttons on the neckline and does not stretch, so it must be open to fit the shirt over your head. This results in some fuss every time you wear the top, so if you're in a hurry it may not be the one to wear. Otherwise, the stylish look is enough to recommend it, especially at sale prices.

This sweater is so cute! I have to agree, however, with previous reviews regarding the collar: the opening isn't large enough to fit over the head, so it must first be unbuttoned from the sweater. I love this sweater, I bought two colors. It's very cute. I get a lot of compliments on it and it looks great with long necklaces. The only thing I don't like is the collar, it's tight and a pain to get on and off. You have to unbutton several buttons to get it over your head, it's worth it though.

This sweater is different than most other summer sweaters becasue it gives you a layered look. I wear it with long pearls similar to what the model has on. It's cool that the collar is removable, but the cuffs on the sleeve are not. I think it would look strange with the cuffs, but no collar.

I did not like the way the white cuffed sleeves looked. They "stuck out" and didn't look right. I thought the sweater was a bit short in length as well. It looked longer on the models in the photos. I was looking forward to receiving this sweater and could have used it for both work and with casual clothes. I sent it back as it just didn't look too great on me and that was mostly because of the white cuffed sleeve area sticking out. It made me look like I had minituare wings!

I ordered this sweaters in two colors, Papaya Juice and Navy. Since they are both for my use, I ordered them both in the same size. The Papaya Juice sweater fit perfectly, while the Navy version looked and felt a full size smaller. I laid one over the other, and--sure enough--they were two different sizes! I checked the labels and they were both labeled the same size. Go figure! They were a good price, so I won't complain too much, but I expect better quality control from Chadwick's.

The feel and color of the sweaters, however, is marvelous! They are just as cute in person as in the catalog photos. I am losing weight anyway, so I am keeping them both as they are.

I recommend this sweater; just try it on when it arrives!!

I like the sweater, but I'm thinking it may not hold up real well because the sweater material is thin. We'll see. The other reviews were correct when they said your head won't fit through the detachable collar if buttoned. I just unbutton the two front buttons, put it on, then rebuttoned. Not a huge issue for me.

I got this sweater in 3 colors: black, posy, and blue-green. All colors were flattering. The black is especially stylish and can be worn with grey, white, black, and grey and white pants. Everyone compliments me when I wear these sweaters. It needs a slightly longer chain on any pendant worn with it. There is a slight challenge getting the sweater over the head - you have to unbutton the collar and then undo at least one of the buttons attaching the collar to the sweater, but this is not difficult. I have not tried it without the collar yet, because I like the look with the collar better. (The sleeve cuffs stay attached.) I looked at similar items with similar prices from other catalogs, but I must say the style on this one is more classic and reminds me of Sandra Dee and Audrey Hepburn outfits. I will find out after I wash the sweaters this week how they will tolerate that. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase and plan to use the top to Country club activities with my sister, the Beach, and dinner with friends. I am thinking of getting a couple for my sister, if they remain available.

This is a poorly made product with a collar that buttons on and gaps and pulls where the buttons hold it to the sweater. It's thin material, poor grade of cotton for the collar and cuffs and it does not hold its shape. This is one of the poorest products I've ever bought from Chadwicks and I've gotten some real dogs.

I really can't say much about this shirt, since I couldn't fit it OVER MY HEAD! Very strange. The opening (even when unbottoned) was literally only about 7 inches in circumference. My grandmother laughed at how little the neck was and said only a baby could fit it over their head. It seemed to run very small, even if I could have fit it over my head (and I have ALWAYS ordered smalls in the past).

This sweater is really cute on the model, but actually getting it over my average sized head was nearly impossible. You have to unbutton half of the collar attachment in order to pull over your head. Bought it in a petite size and it feels a bit boxy around the waist. It looks great with a more narrow cut pant but with wide or loose fit pants I look like a rectangle. Still, the fabric is great, the color is saturated and it looks very pulled together for occasions where usually a plain T Shirt would be worn. Love it, just have to make the cut work.

This is a great looking sweater. The only negative is that the neck is too tight to splip over your head with the collar insert attached. The white collar is detachable from the sweater, but the white cuffs are not. There would be no way to keep the white cuffs really white. Overall it looks great in the catalog (i.e. from a distance), but up close it seems cheap. I know it would not look good after a wash or two, so I sent it back.

This sweater is so cute! I don't know that I'd classify this as a sweater because the material isn't that heavy and it's short sleeved. This probably won't keep you warm by itself in cold weather. My one complaint is the collar. It's a little tight around my neck. But, I'm also not used to wearing tight collared shirts, so it may not be so bad to other people.

Okay listen ladies...this is a GREAT sweater and YES like everyone is saying the button collar is a little tight and a bit of a pain and I had to slightly unbutton it to get it on. BUT-----man, when it's on, it looks sooo awesome!! It really is a great sweater I just LOVE IT! It really does look so great - so stylish! So, yeah it a bit of a pain, but in my opnion, it's TOTALLY WORTH IT. I will just have it drycleaned to keep the collars stiff and nice. The price I am willing to pay for a great flattering sweater. You can wear it on casual nights out with jeans/capris or wear it with a pair of slacks, add jewelery, and you can wear it to work.
The only thing I found annoying is the neck hole is too small. You have to manipulate the collar to get the shirt on.

I don't know what's up with Chadwick's products, but their sizes run very inconsistently. Based on the size chart I should take a size M in this one, but it's a little snug. I like the color (lavender/purple) and it will be cute with a skirt this spring. You do need to unbutton the collar before attempting to pull the sweater over your head!

I got this top for [$] after admiring it for a while. Its really really cute; super classic design. the neckline is a little high and I can tell its going to take some fanangling of the buttons which is a little bit of a nuisence but not that big a deal. My main complaint is that it is pretty short. The model in the pic makes it look pretty liberal length-wise but it is not like that at all. I haven't worn it yet but I have a feeling I will be constantly tugging it down. For the price I am going to keep it but if I had paid full price I might have second thoughts.

Very nice sweater. Perfect weight. Yes, you do need to unbutton the first two on the collar, but not that big of an inconvenience. I ordered a large. I am usually between a M & L. Fits perfect around the neck.

It really looks poor quality for that price. However, the model is very classic and practical. I hope the model will continue for fall and winter but in long sleeve or 3/4 sleeve.

The sleeves are tight and I'm pretty thin.
The worst is the collar. It buttons with like 4 buttons all around so there are gaps where there aren't buttons.
In order for to get the collar to look right at all, you have to button the neck button which makes it extremely tight around the neck.
Also, after the second wash, one of the collar buttons fell off so now I can't wear it at all.

I really like this shirt, however, the collar is an ABSOLUTE HEADACHE!!!

I would've preferred for the detachable collar to be sewn in so that is doesnt shift, the buttons popped off after 1 wear.

Nice blouse, but the orange color is not the one that appears on the web in less colorfull, the collar is not very confortable, it had to be adjusted a lot of times during the day.

Really loved the way the sweater looked on the model, however the small was too large on me with a very loose fit. Can't remember if there was a petite small, but that is probably what I should have ordered size wise. Didn't realize the collar attached with all those buttons - a little aggravating.

The only complaint I have about the top is that you have to unbutton the collar to put it on and unbutton it to take it off. That part is a bit annoying but overall, looks nice.

I got a lot of compliments on this shirt. The only complaint I have is with the removable collar. The bottom part of the collar, that sits inside the shirt, is a little short. I found myself constantly adjusting the front of the collar.

ASlthough I really like the sweater (will have to hold judgement on washability as it has only been washed once so far) I was disappointed to find it impossible to pull sweater on/off without unbottoning at least one of the collar attachments - very inconvenient. Overall it looks nice on and is comfortable, but this one flaw makes it a problem.

I went to put in on for work and the button popped off on the collar. I have to sew the botton back on the collar or the collar comes off. I like the short sleeve sweater other than that problem.

It's cute sweater I intended to wear casually and to work. The choice of colors were great. But, the sleeves were uncomfortably tight. After washing, the hem of the sweater lost it's shape and about half the buttons of the detachable collar detached themselves from the sweater.

When I went to put it on it did not fit over my head. I had to take the collar off and then reattach the collar after I had gotten it on. This is very inconvient. The collar is also too close to the neck making it very uncomfortable.

I recently purchased this product so I'm not sure of its durability but I really like the look, fit and feel of it. The material is light but not too thin or cheap, which is perfect for the hot Texas summers. The collar unbuttons and can come off, which I really like so that I don't get makeup on it as I take it off and on. The color is very pretty and I love the length of the sleeves - just long enough to hide the largest part of my upper arms. I also like the length of the sweater as I am on the tall side and need a little extra length. This will be a great sweater to wear to work with a pair of black pants (business casual).

I liked the concept of this look. It has the sexy librian look that both men and women appriciate.
Be sure to remove the collar and cuffs before washing. Or better have it dry cleaned. The color will fade and the fabric (sweater) looses its shape after washing.

Great preppy sweater, well made, true to size. The collar must be unbuttoned for you to slide the sweater over your head. Otherwise, it is a perfect business sweater or you can wear it casual with jeans. I liked it so much I bought it in another color.

It is a great looking sweater, but not very easy to wear. The collar buttons are too loose, and you would alway have to unbuttom the collar inorder to get it over your head.

This is a great sweater - I ordered it in the Navy and liked it so much I ordered a second one in the Mango. I usually wear 2P, but the Small fits well. The only thing that is less than ideal is the button collar mentioned in other reviews, but it's fine once you know you have to unbutton part of it from the sweater to put it on.

This is a great sweater for work. It is just a little thin, see through, but fits well and I love the colors. You do have to unbutton and rebutton the neck yoke to get it on and off your head though.

The faux collar is buttoned to the sweater and I can't get my head through it without unbuttoning at least 2 buttons of the collar. What a pain! But the outfit is so so cute, and that is why I'm keeping it.

This item was strangely constructed in that the button-on collar had to be removed before the garment could be put over the head. Extremely inconvenient, which is why I sent it back.

I wore my new sweater to work and the girls loved it. Very classic style. The color (pink) was perfect not too bright, not too light. It would be nice if it came in Petite. I am very short waisted and all my shirts and sweaters fall well below the hip and i have to hem them.

This is yuppy sheek without the pretension. I purchased the mango as I work for the Knoxville Convention Center and UT gameday is a big deal around here and I ofcourse have to work on most of them. It's perfect for football season. Only complaint is it takes a little while to put on as you practically have to completely remove the collar to put it on (or maybe that's just me and my big irish head)
