I ordered these to wear over several sun dresses. They are cute, but the sleeve is gathered which doesn't show in the picture on the catelogue. The gathers are bunchy. I'm keeping them, but I may try to redo the sleeve if I can't get them to lay down some and not look so bulky.

I love layering things... sundresses and cardigans or shrugs in the summer for sure. I live in AZ where you have to have a little sweater or something for work b/c of sitting in the AC all day you can get cold in just a sundress. Well, although the style of this shrug is cute, the sleeves were designed for young girls or size 2 women. This sweater was NOT designed for the more traditional Chadwicks's shopper... the average woman. I'm not a big girl... but I do wear a 10 or sometimes a 12. This sweater is NOT flattering for anyone with arms bigger than twigs.

I bought this intending to wear it over a couple knit dresses I bought at the same time. I planned on wearing this and one of the dresses to an academic awards ceremony at a local college. It's shorter than I expected and seems to be cut small. I guess I should have gotten it a size larger. The sleeves of the dresses stick out of this, so I'll have to save it for use with sleeveless dresses or tops or turn the (cap)dress sleeves under. This would be cute over a sundress as shown in the catalog or another sleeveless dress or top, for a casual or dressy daytime event. I suggest buying up a size if you want to be able to button it.
