Good with jeans or dress it up more with slacks and fashion jewelry. Nice for in-between weather. There wasn't a lot of color choices when I bought, so I tried the yellow/orange. It looks pretty in the picture, but for me it's a little too bright. I am always open to trying new colors, so I will keep it, but a more subtle color would have been my choice.

LOVE these wonderful babydoll sweaters! I picked up two on clearance and loved the colors as soon as I opened the package; very bright and cheery (sunshine and tangerine). The fit is a tad on the large size - I normally wear XL but came back to order L in all the colors available. Perfect lighter weight sweater, wonderful babydoll fit that is SO flattering, nice long length so you never worry about waist or tummy showing. Haven't enjoyed sweaters so pretty or comfy (or affordable!) in a long time. :) Order them all before they run out!

I ordered white and "zest"..."zest" looked like a nice light yellow on-line and in the magazine. It turned out to be an ugly kind of pale tangerine color. I didn't even take it out of the wrapper, just sent it back. But the white one fits well and is very cute on, I have long arms and a big chest and it fits. Wish I could trust the colors shown, I would order more.

very happy with these purchases {also bought c-wicks' other colors in same/very similar style but different item #}. these are very figure flattering and elongate the torso. since i am shaped like a spoon, glad i went down a size from my normal; i.e., opted to make sure the top part fit since the bottom part is slightly flared. they make my [fierce] spoon shape look more like a [fierce] figure eight :o) . have nearly every color now. great for autumn into winter {layer w/sleeveless turtlenecks, etc.}, spring, and then right before it starts to get hot in summer...so, essentially, 8+ months of the year I have been wearing them. thx-

I purchased the bright tangerine color; very pretty. Was very surprised and glad that the sleeve length was kind of long. I am 5'8" with very long arms so this was a warm welcome for me. I don't put mine in the dryer for fear of the arms shrinking and the whole thing pilling up. Haven't had it long enough to see how many washes it takes before it starts looking "old" and "worn". Overall, I really like this sweater and plan on getting a few more.

The look of this sweater is great. It is very stylish and looks good on almost any body-type. Although I have not actually worn it yet, I have tried them all on and they 'look' beautiful. As far as washing, I don't know, but if they are anything like the other sweaters I have purchased from Chadwick's, they will stand up to machine wash n' dry outstandingly with no fading no shrinking. A very good buy!

I always order one size larger when a garment is cotton and spandex because it shrinks a size when laundered and I wash everything. It washed nicely and shrank a size and now it fits perfectly. Really cute, nice fabric and comfortable.

I bought this sweater both in petite and misses sizes. I bought a black and one of the aqua blue. The aqua blue is beautiful and washed beautifully but the black looks faded after only one wash. The sleeves are WAY TOO LONG for me and I will probably never wear them because they too are flared and they are not the kind of sleeves that you can push up, roll up or shorten. I am really bummed because I was really excited to buy these and thought they would be a staple in my summer to fall wardrobe. I was hopeful that they would have shrunk up some when I washed them but they didn't. The one time I WANT something to shrink and it doesn't. Disappointed!!!

The catalog did not picture the sleeve of this items well at all. What appeared to be a basic sweater sleeve, was inactuality a bizzarre design. The top part of the sleeve fits snug, and from above the elbow down, the sleeve bells out. It is not comfortable to wear.

My daughter got a purple one of these sweaters as a gift, so when they were on sale I had to get her a different color! She's super tall (almost 5-10 at age 14), so the XL fit perfectly, and the style is comfy enough to wear to school, yet trendy enough to wear mall-shopping with her gal-pals! I highly recommend air drying-it tends to shrink slightly in the dryer (good thing I got the XL), but it has a simple styling, perfect for a teenager who's all about dressing "simple," but likes to be stylish!:)

The sweater is very flattering. It really hides the tummy flaws. I bought the blue and pink and the colors are beautiful. The sleeves are poofy for the top half and then ribbed and tight for the bottom half. It would have been nicer to have a band or cuff on the end of the sleeve and have the whole sleeve with the looser or poofy look. The ribbed half spoiled it for me. Otherwise I love the sweater.

I have actually ended up with three Babydoll Sweaters and ordered one sent to my daughter-in-law. She too, likes her. She and I each have a black one. I also have the beautiful light green, mint maybe and a blue one. I forget the exact color names.
Even though some might think the sleeves are too long I like them and turn them up.
The sweaters are just easy to put on, wear and feel good.

The colors that I ordered (orange, and blue) were outstanding. Also, the arms were long enough for me which is rare. I modeled them in front of my friends and they both said it wasn't flattering for my body type. I am tall and thin and they said it gave me the appearance of being pregnant, because the lower, non-ribbed part poofs out a little. This could be partly because I ordered a size that was too big. I decided to just return them. This was disappointing to me because I liked everything else about them. I would recommend for other body types.

I love this sweater. It goes with everything. To me, it's an all-season go-to sweater. I'm not to hot in it, not too cold, perfect for cool evenings in the summer (and days like we've had in Chicago lately). The fit is very flattering on me -- hides a lot and makes it look like I'm chestier than I really am. I'm thinking about another color but can't decide on which one...

I love the sweaters I bought but the sleeves were too long and wrinkled out of dryer. I have to iron before I wear it. Other wise I am happy. The fit otherwise was perfect.

This is a nice top. It would be a great one if the bodice were longer. A much more flattering fit would be one that tapered to the waist and then flared and was long enough to just cover the seat. This one hits at the widest part of the hips making them look even wider.

I had to exchange the sweater because it ran big. The sleeves were very long and the bustline was too low. Hopefully a small will fit good. I am 5'3 and a busty ( but not huge). According to Chadwick's size chart I am a medium. The medium was too big.

My friend saw this sweater at my Chadwick's catalog and end up ordering three of them. The things that are great about it is that you can wear it with blue jeans or dress pants. This is the style that would look good on all figures. I highly recommend this item.

Ordered three colors, love them. If you forget they're in the dryer, order a size up and you won't have to worry about it. Otherwise, pay attention or air dry. I would have given it a higher review except it shrank too much for my taste, I immediately washed it again and pulled it out to air dry and it worked.

Honestly, I pretty much gave up on Chadwicks due to your sizes tend to run very much on the small size, not true sizes and the fabrics have been ridiculously cheap. Very, very happy with this particular item in size and fabric. Perfect lite weight cotton sweater for this time of the year.

What a comfortable and flattering sweater. I wore it the first day I got it. Lightweight enough for mild summer evenings and cute extra-long sleeves look very modern. Very flattering U neckline, but not embarassingly low cut. I may be buying more of these:)

Sleeves run long--but, so do my arms! Because I am tall, it's hard to get long sleeves that fit.

I'm a bit disappointed, because it does run a little large. I couldn't go a size smaller because it wouldn't fit in the bust. It's great for hanging around comfy, but I wouldn't wear it out anywhere nice.

Unfortunately, although I loved the color it was just not my style....I am in early 60's and I felt it looked to young for me....sorta looked like a maternity top! The sleeves were a little long also but I usually do have the problem. Sorry it didn't work out....it looked cute in the picture.

This is a really great sweater (did I say that already??) - I've got it in 4 different colors. This one (tangerine) I'm having to return because it's the one color that makes me looks like I have the flu ... thought I could get away with it because I love the color, but no go. It's comfortable and great for warm weather. WARNING: Order a size smaller than you usually wear because it does run a bit large. I usually wear a medium, got a small and it fits perfectly. Get it! You'll love it!

The bright blue was brillant. It fit really good and washed up and didn't lose its shape.
Fabric was soft and confortable. Couldn't have asked for a better sweater.
