This is a really nice twin set. I will use it when we travel as you can wear the cardigan when you leave (I live in the mountains) and take it off to reveal the tank top style shell when you get to the warmer climates. I washed it and dryed (low heat) just long enough to get the really wet out of it and it looks just fine. I just wish they had it available in more colors in my size.

I was disappointed in this twin set, especially the shell. The holes require that you wear something underneath it if you plan to remove the cardigan. The overall quality of the sweaters is poor.

I had planned to wear the pieces separately as well as together, but the shell is too loosely woven (see-through) to be worn alone and the sleeves on the sweater are too tight to wear it over even a light-weight shirt with sleeves.

When I received this sweater-set it was too large, despite ordering according to the size chart. Since it's 45% cotton, I washed it in warm water and dried it on medium heat, and it shrank down to fit perfectly as a set, though I'm not sure the sweater would fit over a long-sleeve anything now (it fits closely on the arm). I normally wash in cold water, so it shouldn't shrink any more in the future. It is a little chunky, but I like chunky sweaters. It should be great for spring and fall, when cool mornings turn into warm days and back to cool evenings.

Buy this set one size bigger that what you wear -- it will shrink a full size when washed. Also must wear a camisole underneath since knit has huge gaps from top to bottom. Will be warm with all those layers. Shrunk full size after first delicate wash, and zipper seam went berserk.

The whole set fits the way I expected except the body part of the tank. Seems a little wide. Good part is that part is hidden when the cardigan is on. The arm holes are the correct size. Comfortable feel. Zipper on cardigan is hidden so it's not too casual.

For a winter sweater set, this is not very warm. I have to wear cuddle-duds under to be practical. Weave is waaaay too open for this type of set if you want to wear it during colder months. Pattern and colors are nice though. Seems to run a little snug.
