I ordered XL, but because the item was so long the XL was not at all flattering. I don't know why manufacturers of 14 and up sizes thing that a longer style is more flattering, because it is not. Styles that hit just below the waist are more flattering to the larger person. Tight just accentuates the bulging belly.

I bought 4 like this last year and wore them constantly. So, I came back for two more this year. I bought the black and gray stripe with lurex, and was amazed at how beautiful it is in person. It can be dressy, or casual. These sweaters are not very heavy, so are good for layering, but if you are inside, they are fine alone. I love them all. Very flattering.

I bought 2 of these sweaters, in pink and purple. They look great with black cords or jeans, and are nice enough to wear for a casual work day. I got compliments the first day I wore the pink sweater to the office. The notched neckline is very flattering and the ribbed fabric gently follows my curves, but isn't tight.I am 5'8", 158 lbs. and this L size sweater would be perfect if it were just an inch or two longer [...]. But the sleeves are plenty long enough.(Just wish they wouldn't sew in such scratchy brand tags inside the neckline. I cut it out but it still scratches me - guess I'll have to find a seam ripper to remove it completely)

Fits just the way it appears on the model. I'm small-busted, and this sweater makes me look bigger. I purchased this same sweater last year, and one season (worn often!) is its limit of durability for me. After that, the fabric is stretched out. It could still be worn at that point, I suppose, but the look would be looser, less "put together." This sweater is quite versatile. It looks just as great in a business casual environment with slacks as they do in a more casual atmosphere with jeans. The colors are gorgeous, and the quality/price can't be beat. The sleeves were quite long, but after washing and drying them completely, the sleeve length is better.
