The photo for this item is very misleading. This dress hits right above the knees on the model. However, I found it to be quite long. Even with 3 inch heels this dress still hits below the knee. Because of this, the dress feels more suited for church rather than stylish and trendy. The empire waist shaping is very flattering. Other than the length I liked the dress very much. I did have it altered to make it shorter so that it comes just above the knee as opposed to below the knee. Now that its been altered it really is very cute. But because I had to spend additional money to have this item altered, I would not reccomend it to a friend for purchase.
If you're a sz12 or above try it in 14W!

Noticed this dress wasn't real well reviewed in misses sizes but better reviewed in women's. I normally wear a 12 or 14 but got this in a 14W and it's perfect! A little longer than pictured - I'm 5'6", 165 and it hits right at my knee. I'm also a 36D so the extra room there was just right. Really cute and trendy dress - fabric is perfect weight for winter. Looks very tailored on me with no "big booty" effect at all. For [$] you should give it a try! I'm getting more colors!

I bought this for winters in Texas - cool, but not too cold. It's perfect - heavier than I had expected, but paired with a pair of tights, I can wear it without a coat but it's not too warm for in the office either! It's cute as all get-out and VERY comfortable. I plan on getting another in a different color - I got lapis and it's a beautiful shade!

This dress is so mod and adorable. The bell sleeves are a very cute touch. It fits loosely enough to really flatter a curvy body. If you're short-torsoed, the neckline is a little too open for work. But wear a cami underneath and you're good to go.

I will be able to wear this dress to church and professional appointments after I put a camisole under it because the neckline is too low. I will also have to take it in a little bit in the waist.I am a professional seamstress, so I can do that. Otherwise I would have had to return the dress.
