I needed a dress to attend a wedding. I ordered several outfits in hopes one would work. Obviously your sizes run small, as none of them fit. They seemed nicely made, the fabric was on the heavy side. I had to return them all.

It was hard to find a dress that didn't look like a teenybopper (patterns out of control), fabrics that just don't look on larger individuals, or dresses that looked like an old lady. This dress makes you feel pretty. It's very feminine, and flowing. Classic design!

Impressed with every aspect. I am short- 5'2" - and my chest is not proportional to my hips (in some peoples' view), but this dress fits me wonderfully. It doesn't gap or sag so I don't have to fuss with safety pins, and it gives me just the right amount room through the hips. Although it is pictured at mid-calf length, it is ankle length on me, which is my preference. I did follow other commenters' suggestions and ordered a size up (20 instead of 18). [...] I will be wearing this for a wedding this weekend, and to work after that.

Sure am glad I read the reviews! Someone suggested ordering 1 size larger than normal, so I did and it's an excellent fit. I love the way the dress looks and fits when I'm standing. Beware of sitting if you have ample cleavage!! The bias cut of the dress causes the v-neckline to do strange things when you sit - most notably, pull down very low. The first day I wore it to work I spent the day worrying about indecent exposure. I will probably sew a modesty panel into the neckline to give myself more coverage.
