True to size but length is off: I am 5'5" and usually don't need to hem new pants.

This is my 4th pair of these convertible pants; they are great to travel with and great to wear in N.E. spring and fall when the weather can turn from warm to cold and back again.

These pants are very comfortable. The material is soft. I was a little surprise at how light the color was and haven't worn them yet. I may end up like the other posters and take off the button that allows conversion.

I ordered a size 16 Womens in French Khaki and Black ,the French color fit . The black pants were too small. Went out and purchased a tape measure and even thought they were clearly marked 16 W Each the black pants were 2 inches smaller in the waist. [...] the sizes were not consistant.

As a plus size woman, I am usually wary of pocket placement on pants, but these cargo pants are perfect. The front pockets are not "slash" pockets on the side seams, and this is very important for a woman with hips. Also, the versatility of these pants makes them a very good bargain. I plan to wear them on vacation, and prior to that, I'm wearing them on casual work days and some weekend functions.

I liked my first pair so much that I got a pair in each color! Some are a little long--the length seems inconsistent--no 2 pair the same length, but I just roll them up for a cuff, and have hemmed two pair. The fabric is wonderful & soft. I like them both as long pants & rolled & buttoned as "pedal-pushers". I have gotten lots of compliments on how stylish I look when wearing them.
