I wrote an earlier review about these shorts and I now own five pair! After some minor altering, sewing shut the pockets and clipping off the excess fabric and taking in the hips about a half inch each, they fit quite nicely. I did the altering myself, but if I hadn't been able to I'd have had them professionally altered. I also like the stretch. You can really move around in these. For work, I iron them and use spray starch to put in a sharp crease and they look more polished, less casual.

I teach and am always looking for something professional enough to wear in our steamy, sticky unairconditioned building during these humid end-of-summer days. My classroom can reach over 100 degrees. I first bought these shorts in navy, just one pair to try. They were as comfortable as could be expected, given the horrible humidity. They fit well from the start, but I'm not a fan of pockets, they can add bulk, so I tailored them a bit. I stitched up all pockets and clipped out the excess fabric; then took them in about a half inch at each hip just to clean up the hips a bit. Perfect! I'm a big fan of "What Not to Wear" and tailoring is worth the time if you know how. Otherwise, I would recommend taking them to a professional.
I have bought every color available.

I expected a cut with smaller legs and a fit as was pictured, similar to a walking short or city short. These are regular big leg bermudas. The photo is misleading. It costs too much to return. I will be hesitant to order again.

These came to me and I looked at them and I knew right then and there these did not look like the picture. From the picture they look like there are fitted. They were huge in the legs look like ballons on each leg, more like something my grandmother would wear. The fit was terrible.

The length was perfect for my size (I'm 5'-4"). I like the natural-fit waist, too. The shorts were classic and stylish. I will even wear to work on hot summer days.
