I love the style, but when I put it on, thought it looked like a maternity dress, so I put a little black patten belt around the waist, wore some black patten sandle high heels and took a little black sweater with me. Everyone I saw, no kidding complemented me on this dress. everyone loved it and I got it on sale to boot!

This dress was OK I suppose. It looked OK on but if I hadn't gotten the dress so cheap it would go back-it's not worth it though at [$]. It kind of looked like a maternity dress and the trapeze shape is not flattering for my petite figure. Maybe if you have a lot to hide it would work? I had been reviewing this dress for a long time and was happy to be able to get it at this very good price,but I was very disappointed when it arrived. I mean it is fairly nice, just not what I had expected.It fits like a tent dress except through the breast and that is rather tight. Better order a little bigger size than usual.If I were to wear it, I would wear a pullover top with it, but the size I got was too tight in the top for that. Also I did not care for that shade of red. Maybe the other colors look better.

I absolutely LOVED this dress! I ordered it two sizes smaller and it was perfect! I'm normally a size 8 and am smaller on the top, so a 4 was perfect. If you're a larger busted woman, you would probably only want to order one size smaller to get comfort and good fit through the top. I wore this to a wedding and received a lot of compliments!

This dress was such a disappointment. I had such high hopes, I ordered it in three colors. I opened the yellow one first and just about died from the smell. I take it it was dry cleaned first and still smelled very strongly of the chemicals. So much so, that that was reason enough to send it back however, it was the fit that put me over the top. While I have gotten used to the dresses running very small lately, and my having to order a size up, I did order this dress in my regular size. It was so big on me, two of me could have worn it at once.
I am sorry to say, all three went back.

The dress does have somewhat of a maternity effect because of the flairing, but no one asked if I was pregnant...only remarks about how cute I looked. After reading through all of the reviews, I ordered a 4 instead of a 6. I am 5'7" and slender. It looked and felt great on.

I bought a 8P in blue. I love the color! I also like how the dress is cut. It reminds me of a 50's style dress. However, the front of the dress has two pleats that are "tacked" at the bottom so as to make the dress appear "fuller", as it causes it to tuck under in the front-like a puffed blouse- while the back flows straight down. I don't like that. I'm not sure why the front of the dress was tacked at the bottom to begin with as it didn't appear that it was tacked in the picture. I plan to remove the tacks. I'm short 5'1'', so the dress falls a little below my knees. On someone shorter than myself, the dress would "swallow" their figure. For a taller person, it would be more flattering.

I bought this black dress to have that "black dress" in the closet for special casual occasions. I loved the top of the dress - very flattering. The dress has a pleat going down the middle from the bust to the bottom hem which makes the dress flare. Not a great look as the top of the dress is fitted and the bottm is too flary. I would not recommend this dress.

I did not like this dress after receiving it. It was too short, and the fit across the bust area is to tight. I wear a size 14 and should have ordered a size 16, for it to fit as shown in the catalog. I did not return it, as I will give it to a friend, but as for me it was not working.

I bought this dress in two sizes. 10 and 12 The size 10 dress was perfect. 12 was too big but to send it back expensive so I wore it over a knit turtleneck (like a jumper) and got mnay compliments. My legs looked great in it. My only disappointment and it was big that after I had it on I noticed a pull. Later that day I caught a piece of plastic on it and it pulled a snag. So bummed about that. I recommend but with reservations because of how easily it snagged.

The actual dress had great fabric quality. However I ordered 2 sizes smaller than I usually wear because the dress appeared wide. When I tried it on it was STILL too wide. It swallowed me...I really like the color and fabric so I may get it altered but that defeats the purpose of a good deal.

My daughter is getting married to a millatary man, in a outside wedding. The discription of the dresses were sailor style. I was very suprised that the sizes where so much larger than the girls originally wear. The girls wearing a size 10 went to wearing a 4, and size 14 went to wearing a size 6. This made me have to return them all, and wait for weeks because they were out of stock. I was pleased after all that.

I bought this dress for a cruise later this fall after reading all the reviews on it. It is far better than expected. I can't wait to wear it. I was concerned about the length since I'm a petite and it doesn't come in petite but I wanted it just a little longer than the illustration and it's perfect. It might be a little short on someone really tall. The design and fabric are very nice and it feels great on. I think accessories can really dictate the occasions to wear it.

I looked like a pregnant Smurf in this blue dress. Will probably send back. I liked the design it was just too big on me and the blue color was a little brighter than I expected. It would look better on someone with a smaller frame than mine.

This dress is adorable, travels well, and is very comfortable. I would recommend, however, that thinner or taller women purchase this dress. While not fat, I am solid, not very tall, and somewhat well endowed. This dress made me look much heavier in photos than I actually am.

Dress had no shape, fit like a bag. Had stitches at the bottom that were to keep the drapping place, but they were literally 2 stitches supposed to hold all the cloth in place, way cheap.

The dress is SO comfortable, but fits kind of funny around the bust line and the wide sleeves(?) or straps bunched up. The swing of the dress was great and covered any "pooches" that we don't have, but ultimately the bunching of the sleeves looked so weird to me that I returned the dress before wearing it out. Would work GREAT on someone a tad taller than my 5'7".

Ordered it in black and thinking about ordering the red as well. Can be dressed up or down -- wear with pumps and pearls for a career look or nice high heel sandal for a night on the town.

Might add a silk turtle neck for a winter look.

I'm between a 10P and a 12P. I ordered this dress in 10P.... 5 of them. I thought it was a little tight in the bust area, so I ordered one more in 12 P. The bust was better, but the shoulders and arm area was too big. Maybe the deal is to go without a bra. I'm 36B and can get away with this.

I love this dress. I was afraid it would be too short but the length is good and I see myself wearing this quite a lot. It can be dressed up or down, depending on accessories.

This is a great sleeveless dress. I do, however, plan to wear it as a jumper in the fall with a skinny black turtleneck and black tights. The dress is constructed more to a generous fit so don't choose a size above what fits.
