I had been looking for a long denim skirt of this style for quite some time. Other than the tab belt loops at the top, it was exactly what I had wanted. But the belt loops are low profile and don't interfere when I wear a top that does not tuck in, so it is fine. I have a small waist with larger hips, and this style was perfect.

Excellent for fit and comfort and I love the longer length. I'm glad Chadwick's carries classic styles, because I certainly can't find them at any local depatment stores. I hope this style comes out in more colors soon.

The nice thing about this skirt, which I ordred in stone washed denim and in black, is that it looks and fits like the picture. I shop that way. If the picture shows an item that I feel will work with my height an weight then I buy it. Being tall I often have trouble with lengths and waists lines hitting me in the correct spots. This skirt works very nicely. My only concern is that the black fabric tends to wrinkle much easier than the denim and it also attracts lint. But these are very minor issues.

I have ordered many of these skirts and have been happy with them. I have ordered the blakc denim riding skirt several times. The first 2 times I received black denim skirts, the last 2 times they were black but in a cotton twill fabric. NOT DENIM. When I called to check on this they said that it doesn't say black denim, only cotton, but the fabric swatch IS denim, and the first 2 skirts I bought WERE DENIM. I absolutely love this skirt and have recommended it to several of my friends. I would LOVE to order several more of the black - but only if I can get the BLACK DENIM!!! Thanks! Schery O.

This is the third skirt I bought in this style. The black is twill instead of denim so its not as soft and seems to stick to my legs when I walk. I purchased a size 12 because in the denim that fit me best, but in the black twill its a bit too large. Maybe after its washed it won't stick to my legs. Otherwise very nice skirt indeed.

this skirt is great, comes up to the waist but, the statement that there is back elastic is totally true. There is elastic on the sides but not much. So if you need a bit more give in the waist go for a larger size. It is a tad bit longer than i expected and I am 5'8". My daughter thinks it's too long, but I like it. I can imagine it with a sweater and boots for the mall in the winter, or with a white cotton blouse and espadrilles in the summer.
The denim is a nice weight, not flimsy, but not too heavy, just the right softness.

This skirt is nice, flowy, comfortable and most important not constrictive. I love the cut of the skirt as well as the long length. Go to the supermarket, get out in the garden, or run around with your toddlers in this skirt. It is versatile enough to allow you to do these things and more. For those who enjoy wearing skirts, this one is a must. I ordered one in each color and have not been disappointed.

This skirt is really long, so it may be too long for a shorter person. I love it however, since it looks classier than sweatpants, but is just as comfy. good quality and a pretty design.
