I bought it for dress up. The dress fits just fine but the jacket feels huge on me. Fits way too large. The seams puckered, so I took it to the cleaners for professional pressing after I washed it at home per directions on the label. The seams are still puckering, but I hope I can still remedy that problem. I bought the gray wanting to use it with black or red accessories.

I have needed a red dress/suit for a couple of years and have had a terrible time locating one. I am so glad to finally find something in red! (I am SO BORED with black!!!) This is a very versatile, multi-season outfit, with the sleeveless dress and long sleeved jacket, and for once, it's not too short! Most I have tried on in stores or through other catalogs have been too short, or the dress has been too tight if the jacket fit, or the dress fit and the jacket was way too big. I am very happy with it; it suits my purposes perfectly.

The dress and and jacket allow me to escape the "Italian" problem i.e longer torso and short legs. The jacket is long enough and the dress is just right in terms of length. It is only slightly smallish and not enough to worry about (this may be a problem from naughty nibbling of some chocolate and pizza on my part). I highly recommend this product.

I wore this suit for the first time to an important meeting. I felt very comfortable in the suit sitting, standing, etc., and I wore the suit for the entire day. I did have to have minor alterations in the chest area. Good buy!

I have worn this brand same size for years, still wear several purchased numerous years ago. Dress fit perfect under arms across shoulders, past there it was like it was painted on my body so tight. Jacket fit more like a size 16-18 instead of 12. Jacket was so huge I checked size to see if a mistake had been made in packing I was extremely disappointed!

Definitely a great work dress. I purchased the purple one to add some variety to my wardrobe and I received some compliments. Though pretty much true to size, if your waist is on the thick side I would avoid purchasing. It may be too tight. Accessories can change the look of this outfit from work to after 5.

I ordered a sz 4 and normally wear between a 4 and a 6. This dress was a bit big in the waist/hip area. The sleeves on the jacket were very long and I am not petite (5'7"). The length is okay. After I have the dress taken in a tad and the sleeves hemmed, it should fit perfect. All in all, I liked the color (gray) and the durability.

Very versatile! I've worn the dress and jacket as a suit, the dress with a cardigan or sweater tied over the shoulders, and the dress by itself. The cut of the dress is VERY flattering (I have an average to average-plus chest). The only downfall is the color - it's not quite as dark as navy. So my navy shoes didn't really match.
